The big appeal to me are the stainless steel frets. Might pick this up. Wish Charvel would offer stainless Steel frets in their range that isn't custom shop 3K+ guitars. Other brands like Solar, Ibanez and ESP LTD atleast offers them for around 1-1.5K. I don't feel comfortable dropping the same amount for nickel frets when I have experienced SS frets. They're superior in every way. Feel and wear wise.

I don't think any Fender instruments offer it outside of Japan/USA and maybe Mexico? The more competition that does I'm sure we'll see it creep in. I was looking at the Vivaldi Charvel and it's a made in Korea model so I guess as other brands offer it the EVH/Charvel/Jacksons from these factories will at some point. Though there are plenty of people who don't like SS frets. I notice Chapman are offering SS on some models around ~1k.

I bought a Fusion II used for very cheap and I'm still amazed at the quality. The only change I made to the guitar is to change the bridge humbucker to a Seymour Duncan JB (I guess the Fusion III bridge humbucker was upgraded sound wise). While I own some high end guitars, I'd definitely buy another Harley Benton. PS - I had to use Ernie Ball Primo Slinkys (9.5 - 42.5) on the Fusion II because it played and bent notes way to easy with a 9 set.

The roasted Canadian maple neck and flame top on mine are just beautiful. It has a lot of features that most pay double for with other brands. I just have alot of guitars with Alnico 5s in them. This guitar is worth upgrading pick ups for. It truly does offer alot for your buck. Well spent on this model. Mine was 369.00 and I bought the hard case combo through thomann. With shipping it was like 504.99. Arrived way fast. Like 4 business days later. It does compare to my 93 pro Jackson dinky that has a branded jackson floyd rose from germany. This is a Japan mode, but rare. Reverse shark tooth inlays. Different then the necks today. Hockey stick neck style.

I've just ordered a B-stock and since I do my own setups I feel confident I can make it work. Main reason to get one is to have good Floyd equipped guitar and try the roasted maple neck to see if I like it. I have bought a used fusion ll before and it was really good after some setup. The stainless steel frets are not the highest quality so they'll need care just like other frets, only just not as often. I've ordered a push in arm because I hate those collar tightened arms. It should be good from there on. I hope the pickups are ok, if not I have some Bill Lawrences ready to go 😉
