Exactly.. overheating is what causes damage. When EfI run hot the idle is very slow .

The sound is cool....don't get me wrong......but the Evo engines need a higher idle speed in order to pump the oil through the engine properly. The idle on this bike IS too low. I'm not so sure it would affect the plugs so much as the longevity of the engine itself. Oil circulation is the key. Cheers!

if you wanna keep the engine in good shape make sure you set idle speed around 900 rpm.Your bike is just running low,may sound cool but your pistons are gonna wear out in no time.Trust me on this,I know....too nice a bike to destroy....

i think it sounds like a 5 horse honda engine when it idles that low. maybe it's just me, but i think the bike sounds much tougher when it idles a bit faster than this video

How's the ride with the hardtail? I've read that with the springs under the solo seat you can hardly tell the difference from a bike with rear suspension. I love the look and would appreciate some feedback before I take the plunge. Thanks'
