Which Model do you hate to see be dropped the most of the 3?

Sport Glide! This bike deserves a couple things such as: 117 engine, dual front brakes, performance air filter, and a slightly larger faring (not much bigger, but slightly larger and more sporty looking and less like a baby Street Glide faring) while still keeping the soft tail frame. This woudl then truly be a "Sport" Glide

Out of the 3, I will miss the Slim the most. I rode a sport glide once when I was at Bike Week in Daytona. That little fairing put all the wind right under my helmet. The whole time I was riding, I felt like my glasses or my helmet was being ripped off my head. I would have scrapped that little fairing the first day I rode the bike. That and the saddlebags was all that really set the bike apart (except for the inverted forks). I’m surprised they have any of the evo sporters available for ‘22. I’m not against them, but with the changes around the world, I’m not real sure it makes sense financially to keep them.

The word of the day with Harley Davidson is change & performance. Eventually, the Revolution Max engine format will take over across the board and all the modern technology that comes with the new format. The days of Hot air cooled engines, pushrods, lifters, bottom end cams and three hole oil filling are over.

I think that will take a while, not that I don’t like the rev max engine but they have a patent for an air cooled motor with vvt also… that may extend the air cooled motor for a while longer.

Wow my 2018 sport glide with Memphis shades road warriors fairing is still going strong. Was looking to switch to 2022 model if it was looking good but looks like no lol

Slim sold very well, they are trying to push the sportster s... which is in the exact same pricepoint as the softail slim, but more tech...

Hate to see the iron 1200 go, makes no sense to leave the 883 around and not the 1200. I own a 2019 and love it. Can you explain why the sportster 48 passed emissions but the 1200 didnt? its litterally the same bike with a smaller tank....

I am not sure if I said something that was unclear. The Sportsters are non compliant with Euro 5 standards. Everything I have seen from credible sources said Harley could not sell ANY new Sportster in EU after 2020 because of non compliance. This means everyone expects that eventually they will end production of ALL Evo Sportster's. The 1200 meets emissions in the US but I suspect HD killed it because the 48 is probably more profitable so you either buy a 48 or a more expensive HD or drop down to the under powered 883...that is just my guess HD never discusses why they drop a model that I have seen.

Just proves another bad decision Harley-Davidson continues to make, they are behind the times, really surprised their over priced bikes have not gone out of buisness.
