Today Dylan from Forcite Smart Helmets and myself put the LiveWire up to a challenge to see if the battery will last the day as if you were riding it with your buddies on a normal Sunday ride, along your favourite Sunday road.

Rob, Love the concept - low COG, insane torque curve, naked bike - I own and love a Rocket R 3 and love all of those things.....but at $50k and battery PTSD not yet for me....

Honestly, I like the idea of the Forcite helmets, an integrated helmet, comms and camera. But the quality of the camera is just not good enough, man. It doesn't meet the AMAZING videos you (have already) put out there. Livewire is sick and I would def buy one if I had the cash :)

UK launch ? Are you picking up all the audio between you from one source or do you need to take it from both helmets and edit it together? Ian Back on Two Wheels

UK Launch probably mid 2022. Best to take both video audio and mix it together, because there's a lot of tricky law and ethics around recording the voice of someone else on any type of call. That said, it's possible, as the helmet acts as a regular bluetooth headset and there's apps that do it (on Android at least).

Is it rear wheel drive? Why can’t the front wheel generate power for the battery, or a secondary battery, so you don’t have to stop and plug in?

Does the forcite helmet connect rider to rider communication?

Not at the moment, but it’s something they’ll be adding in the future. We were on a phone call the entire time

It can do it via a phone call, Whatsapp group, Discord, Skype, etc. But not directly between helmets ... yet.
