The lower bolt came out on the adjuster rack.. that phillips head bolt. and chain oil poured out of that hole ... i did not know we are to check those... i installed a torx head fastener so i could torque it down and add loctite and good to go.. i found the old bolt that unscrewed out it was cut in half and a little damage to the inner case but not bad . got lucky... only telling ya so you know it can come loose... it was in my 1990 FXRP...
