So how’s this back test holding up for you? Another video showed the same backrest with excessive movement once inserted into the fender mounted retaining bracket on day one.

He rides that bike almost daily during the warm months. His wife rides very often No issues at all.

Is there any significance to the strap holding the seat down? I have an 08 RK and I do not have the strap just the bolt 😅😅
@donnyo654 жыл бұрын
I was thinking about this for my RK - definitely getting one after seeing this, thanks guys.

Thats something I'll have to ask my buddy that owns the bike. If he still has any of the paper work. I'll let ya know when I find out something.

Thx bub appreciate the response. Will wait to see the part number of the quick connect kit that the seat connects to thx gary
@Poweraddicts8 жыл бұрын
Are you referring to the drivers back rest? The quick connect that the back rest snaps into came with the back rest kit. Also, in order for that kit to be used, you must have the seat like his that has the slot in the seat.
@garyjohnson31088 жыл бұрын
No im referring to the passenger back rest,the quick connect kit to add the sissybar. I have the seat just trying to find the quick connect kit that the sissy bar connects to...just so you understand why im asking, i have a 2004 Electra glide ultra classic. And I am taking the tour pak off permanetly and adding the sissybar for rear passenger.... thx gary

OK gotcha, I'll ask the guy that owns the bike. I think it was on there when he got it. Not 100% sure of that though.
