I remember seeing them on the road in 77 and 78. My Kawasaki 900 and KZ1000 would put them to shame any time and cost a lot less to buy. But I think they are good looking bikes, just too slow and heavy to compete with other bikes.

Beautiful bike, again! But agree with the peanut gallery on BaT, the music was a poor choice. Nothing over that, but Motorhead "Built for speed" or "Ace of Spades" would be a good choice, but some classic Bachman Turner Overdrive, Credence, Deep purple Burn would be great, but Highway star would really fit well. I think these are possibly the worst looking motorcycles Harley ever made. Willie G. couldn’t make up his mind if he wanted a flat tracker or a road racer. He got neither and now we know why they only made them for 2 years. Having said that, this is a nicely preserved example.
