Thanks for watching! My plan for the next video is going to go over touring with this bike, and what that setup looks like all loaded up. It’ll include the specific stuff I use, and I’ll compare it to the setup I use when I take a trip on the road glide. I think it’ll be a pretty good one!

I’m running bitubo rear shocks on my 94 NJ roads are absolutely horrible as well and they have really helped my back. I’ve never run legends, race techs or ohlins so idk how they compare but for the money they are great shocks.

Olan shocks for a sportster spring rates a little soft which makes it a very comfortable ride and they still handle really well I’d love them

Did you have to mess with the exhaust in anyway to fit the theader? Have the same pipe and it won’t clear nose cone or rear floorboard mount.

Hey did you wire the MotoGadget Motoscope Mini to the stock front wheel speedo drive sender? Or are you using reed contact/magnet pickups?

No matter what I tried, I could not get the magnetic sensor to work. So I bought motogadgets motion sensor instead. Works really great. I made my own bracket, and bolted it to the front left caliper bolt, and the sensor is pointing at the 5-spoke rotor.

I don’t, not yet anyway. I am going to eventually get clamshells and a trunk. I’ll also have to get new strut covers to be able to use the rear shock position. I don’t want to ditch the Arlen Ness strut cover blinkers but I don’t have a choice if I’m going to go that route.

@@tallglider6313 I do. It’s a 21 Road Glide Limited. Really love that bike a lot. Nothing puts a smile on my face like the FXR, but when you want everything to just be easy, that Road Glide sure is tough to beat.

I had Legends on my Dyna. I did like them, but then they blew out in a year. Legend was great and had me send them back and sent me a new pair so I have no problem with the company. They did me right. But that does make me a little hesitant to go with them again just based on reliability. I’m not opposed though!

Are you still running a tapered shaft transmission?

Yes. I very strongly considered going to a spline shaft but ultimately decided to stick with what I have. If the clutch hub ever ends up spinning off, then I’ll get the Andrews spline main shaft for 90 FXR’s. They still make them.

Crash bars look like shit, BUT we need them to protect our PRIDE!.. I got a FXD with a 106 stroker , 55mil throtle body heads cams etc. I'm still picking away at her n just love riding her!. I also have a race bagger with a S&S DRAGON T143 ON NITROUS 225HP when the CROTCH ROCKETS WANA PLAY!...🤣🥳🤠😯✌️ I run Revo on the bagger, just stock on the Dyna but I don't find the ride bad at all. N I'm 61 my old butt needs comfort🥸
