You bought a 23k bike and put another 7k in motor work and DID NOT COME CLOSE To the power of a super cruiser. Not close. You then put tons more in bars and lights etc. You can buy the super cruiser buy bags and an st fairing from advanblack for 5k AND Have over 60 more horsepower

@@sLowRider114. I’ve ridden from mass to Florida on a 2001 Honda cbr 929rr and the weight of the bike had nothing to do with it. The riding position sucked. People cross the country on choppers and sport bikes etc. less weight equals better handling. Your argument is incorrect. Been riding for 35 years. ridden every kind of bike. Own the cvo road glide st. Which is almost 100 pounds lighter than previous models. Yet it handles better every where. Rode through a monsoon in Daytona beach bike week. I live here in MI, and have seen them ride down 131 and i-96. I'm gonna say something that people are going to hate on. It sounds like an R7. I really hope there's an aftermarket real quick. Otherwise dudes are going to be looking at FXRs that sound like a mid-weight sports bike. But that's another issue, aftermarket. These engines have been around for a while, and there aren't really any aftermarket parts for em. I would love to see it though. I think they're facing the right direction, but they've only stuck their toes out and announced it real loud. This is the third time Buell, as a company, has tried. I liken it to Norton. Huge following, tons of legacy, massive appeal, but really poor follow through. So, I'll say it again despite people already typing, I wish them luck, and I hope people find it worth it, but the aftermarket needs to get on board.

I had a Lightning back when the Elves were still building them. Buell was a jack rabbit but lacked top end. The thing that made it great was Erik himself. It was a tight knit community. This go around it's not the same. They bought some parts and cobbled together a one off custom, which is cool, but they missed the mark when they decided to manufacture them en masse. I rode the later model water cooled Buells before they folded. The Vrod walked away from it. Plus, they had some issues with the motor, and couldn't get parts. All in all, it's a noble effort. Don't forget, Harley has the Pan Am. And the M8 tromps the torque at much lower rpm. Plus, longevity. Buell was only sustainable when they used off the shelf sporty parts. As soon as the xb came out, they started bleeding capital.

I ride a xb12x now with 30k on it. I liked the Revolution and Rev Max engines. The problem I have with the price besides the bad economy is the super cruiser is NOT going to have all the after market parts people think it is going to come with. Buell has already said this. Buell has stated they are working with after market companies so there will be upgrades available. Anyone that gets this bike will also have to spend 4k or more making it their own and/or what they have seen is some of the concept bikes. I was excited about this bike and put $50 up for early access but I am going to pass. I have a bagger and a cruiser already. If I wanted a new cruiser I would buy a low rider S for much less money and then drop 6k to 10k in it with a much larger after market to choose from and have a bike that has a ton more TQ which is what really makes the V-Twin fun to ride and still having a good HP. Buell has also stated that many of the parts are just carry over from their other bikes, in fact all their bikes are this way. I wish Buell all the best same as I do Indian.

Either they’re all overpriced or maybe this is just where the market is. I think the low rider s is overpriced by like 4-5k and at a 6k difference from the super cruiser the low rider s won’t get anywhere near the performance the super cruiser offers. To get the low rider s to where the super cruiser is you’ll probably need to put another 20-25k into it lol

Out of all the people out there on KZbin you are the most real!!! It’s funny cause as I was typing this you basically started saying exactly this. I make my comments as I’m watching and listening. Yes, you love Harley but I know you appreciate Indian and you said great things about Buell. The only thing you said was it’s pricey. I agree, a new bike to the market charging more than HD and Indian is a tough strategy. I always believe if you don’t have the market like Harley then you should try to come in cheaper than the leaders in bike sales. A smart strategy is to come in cheaper. People come to your channel with preconceived comments and don’t actually listen. If they think you are influenced by Harley then they should go look at some of the other content creators who never say one thing bad about HD. Keep doing you brother. Those comments are stupid as you pointed out again every good thing you said about Buell.

I actually agree with mk87 - 26k is overpriced. I think people are missing the point when it comes to the base price of any bike. Virtually nobody keeps the bike stock - a lot of the pleasure of owning a bike is making it yours and buying/installing aftermarket parts... They'll do this with the Buell too. Even with it's extra horsepower etc, people will change it to make it to their taste. Just to add - Harley is overpriced too... but 26k for the base model is a LOT for what is essentially a naked sports bike.

Just want to respond because my comment was one that you read. Let me preface with this. I’m new to watching KZbin videos about bikes only because I’m interested in the super cruiser and want to read and see everything I can about it before it gets here. That said I’ve only seen two of your videos and it seemed like you were coming off negatively so I can’t speak for other people, but my intention was to try to balance, things out so people would not be dissuaded about the super cruiser. My reason for that is that Buell appears to be on the verge of putting performance and handling on the map for American cruisers. I love that Buell is bringing motorcycle manufacturing back to the US while others are moving it out. I don’t have to tell you how personally people take their bikes, I can tell you already know. But I will say I think a lot of the heat that you caught over that video isn’t about you or your opinions, but the fact that a lot of people are feeling betrayed by our most iconic motorcycle company going woke. Keep doing what you’re doing. I love the conversation. Respects.ps- new sub👍
