It's also a good backstory bc many men literally stole inventions or discoveries from women or they have been published under their husband's names. Even Albert Einstein worked with his wife but didn't give her any credit and after they weren't working together anymore he didn't have any big break through anymore. Same with the discovery of the DNA where a woman's research was stolen by two men.

Is it that she’s gained more perspective with time, seeing events more clearly than she did in previous seasons, or does she feel that the she was closer to who she is now as a child than she was in college when she was under Woodrue’s influence?
