The difference in Harley's character when directed by David vs a Cathy is interesting. David's Harley was much more sexual, her hair and her outfit pretty much says it, but also the way she talked and acted was a bit more baby I guess? (there's a word for what I'm thinking of but I have no idea what it is) Then there's Cathy's Harley whose hair is choppier and more fun? Plus the way she dresses is more like she's dressing to experiment with crazy fashions, just for her, rather than to please. Maybe it's because in Suicide Squad she was still with the Joker, kind of under his influence, dressed in ways I guess she thought he would like. Whereas in Birds of Prey it's more about her and what she wants. - sorry this is way too damn long but I just thought it was cool.

Personally I wanted to get out of the cinema at more or less half of the movie. I ended up so nervous and I hated the movie a lot. But that is just my opinion. I understand if some people like it.

@@bea7806 well. The narration for starters. In films is better to show rather than tell. And for me the narration was way over the top and lasted too much. The character of harley quinn didn't make it for me. Very irritating. And some scenes were very convenient and didn't make sense. Like the scene in the police station. How come harley is fighting with a lot of criminals in the cells and not even one cop goes after them? And more things like that. Don't get me wrong. There are things that I like. The fight scenes are brutally good, and the music accompanies very well. But more than that, nothing else. And the villain is very weird. Very exaggerated for me

I just realized that this is a movie, where you need no knowledge of previous films to enjoy it. Hell, you don't even need to know who Batman and Joker are to have a great time. Her back story is explained at the beginning and the rest you can figure out.
