Some thoughts about the Saddlemen Step up seat. I have been using this seat on my Softail Slim now for about a month.

Looking forward to seeing everyone as well in September. Last year was so much fun and this year looks to at least match it if not better it. I'm sure you and D-Cycle will pick out some nice routes for riding.

Hell yeah man, nice seat for sure. Sometimes I wonder if that would have been a better seat than the Mustang Fastback for my sporty, but too late now andbim pretty happy with mine. But I'm really happy for you too. I'll swing by one of these weekends before I get out of TN (before MMM)

Tony I put the H-D hammock on the Fatboy and it was ok but I bought some saddleman gel and took the cover off and cut in the foam and placed the gel in it and that made it a empty tank seat. So I could ride 200- 225 miles no problem. Fill up the tank and go again. I know you work so let me know when you would like to meet up some place in between Milan and Louisville. I retired at 55 and just had my 60 birthday last Thursday so any day is good for me.

"Most comfortable seat I've ever had" Wonderful to hear. About your wife's comfort, I'm curious, did you get the saddle gel core for the rear seat as well? Because it's not included stock, it's an addon that you add when you order the seat. Saddlemen really makes the best seats, glad to hear everyone who get's one loves them.

That brass accent thing you've got going on looks really nice on the Slim. That back support you have on the seat is a bit higher than what I have on mine. Mine's good, I imagine yours is even better. Those Sundowner seats look horrible and they feel like barca loungers. Blech Thanks for the shoutout!
@TonysGarage

Not a fan of the sundowner at all. Harley just can’t get the quality to meet the price of their seats for some reason. So far a big fan was f the step up in both comfort and quality. Thanks for watching Percy!

Got a ‘16 fatboy lo and the stock seat and bars are killing me.. love the look of this seat and w/the low back rise I think it’d be comfortable to lean back on and would keep me in the seat.. 6’ and lookin to add bars too.. 14” bars w/this seat got any opinions? Don’t ride typically no more than 2/3hrs but come event time I want to be able to put more on a bike without back pain!

Frank Carlo I’m only 5’6 and the riding position is great. It does push you forward a little and up. As far as slipping around that isn’t going to happen you are locked in this thing. You do need to give it some time to break in at first it is very stiff.
