I am about to complete 1 year of being an owner of X440. Here are the things which I like. Its Exhaust will make your day. It does sound like a Harley, considering a single-cylinder engine. It looks bigger in real, is longer than the classic, and bigger than speed 400. So it has a great road presence. In practical life, you will deal with city traffic most of the time, and this bike can get you away from traffic even in 3rd gear. You will love its low-end torque. Things which I don't like. The front suspension bottoms out sometimes. The finishing of the wires could have been better.

I'm planning to buy this bike, could you please help m know if you've managed to get the front suspension issue sorted? if so, how? Also, how much mileage per liter is it giving in city honestly, as I'll be driving in city quite frequently. Thanks

@Nagasai999 Front suspension issue is not very frequent, It happens only on big pot holes. Also since3rd service I am not facing this issue any single time. Milege I get is of 28 in city and 30 in highways.

Ride around 1500 km with no issues till now and enjoyed every bit of kms, I purchased it from legend bike nagpur. I'm planning to go on a ride to panchmarhi very soon .

My x440 already crossed 18000 km here is my honest review. 1. horn problem:dnt depend on your horn it wont work sometimes . 2. Engine sound: it make unusual sound from the engine but after many complaints no action taken till date. 3. Gear problem: sometimes you experience gear hardness while riding. 4. Heating problem of engine .5. ignition issue: dont switch off your bike in traffic it gives you embarrassing feeling dont start at time. 6. Service engineer: they dont had any idea about issue even they suggest me to adjust chain after 100 km which is was shocking to me . Overall not support from harley davidson and local dealership is worst . My dealer os Beekay auto siliguri west bengal

Bro i was having the same problem of horn i went to the service centre and they used a screwdriver to balance the tuning of the horn (there is a screw on back of the horn) tell them that there is tuning problem they will fix it.

I have this bike, I also faced issue with horn but Harley replaced it for free and the new horn is loud enough. I recommend you to get it changed from authorised service center.

well, if you're tall you shouldve gone for the scrambler 400x , its wayyyy better looking, more punchy , can offroad easily and doesnt look like a ripoff (despite being made by Bajaj)

This bike everything issues. It's not harley davison guy's. Full and fully hero company, Outlook only harley davidson badge. Waste don't buy.

every fucking part of this bike comes from harley davidson . even the engine is made by harley davidson the engine is from 880 vtwin engine from harley they just took the single cylinder of that engine and make a new engine on that part .
