My wife and I just ate here. I had the rib cap. She had filet . Both were cooked to perfection They were both great. Best steak that I've had in years. Waiter was great also. Will definitely go there again.

As someone who put themself through college waiting tables, it was generally easy to differentiate between people who were habitual complainers, and people who had genuine issues. You could tell the latter group felt uncomfortable speaking up. Don't feel bad about asking for major issues to be fixed. The server will probably agree with you.

Thanks for the encouragement! I've always been nervous about speaking up like that and also worried they might mess with the food in some way if I complained. You always hear about the cooks spitting in the food of troublesome customers but that probably never actually happens in real life. I really should have said something if I wasn't totally satisfied especially with how much the food costs there.

Hey Bansan, glad you checked out this high-end steak house for us ! @6:35 the Waygu NY Strip steak was really charred black. My wife says that the burnt part is a carcinogenic risk. Looks like the searing TORCH was set on too high ha ha. Never seen or ate that Creme Brulee dessert. You are a very patient guy ! That Halloween Parade was a extra treat ! Thanks :)

Thanks so much Paul! That Halloween Parade was alot of fun! I think there's a Christmas Parade going on in Downtown Summerlin for the holidays right now and I'm thinking of checking that out his weekend. I'm glad I usually don't eat burnt food because I definitely don't want to get cancer!! That steak was a little bit too charred for my tastes haha. And that creme brulee dessert was unique for sure and very sweet haha.

I ate at Barry's once last year and loved it. Service was good and everything tasted great. Not surprised they are so highly rated. I will have to make a video there in the future.

Now I'm sorry I told you to head to this steak house bud talk about some what of a let down😕😕😕 that pasta dish looked really good and so did that vegetable appetizer, but the steak you should have sent it back my friend I mean $100 bucks for that thing they could have done better. 😒😒😒 The fish dish looked good but they should have trout fillets on the plate that have been de-boned talk about lazy, man this place is just really expensive but I will give it a try next time I'm in Las Vegas but at least the decor looked good and the parade looked fun.😋😋😋 one quick question how is the weather in Vegas good it's raining here in Oregon and cold I want to move there just tired of the weather here it' tough in the winter you know how it is.😕😕😕 P.S. The jack binion's steak house was way better even though it's in bally's

Haha, don't feel bad about that! I've been wanting to try this place out myself as well! Yeah, the steak wasn't so good but at least the other things made up for it. The pasta dish was really good. I really should have sent the steak back especially for that amount of money. The steak should have been perfect. I'm going to eat at SW Steakhouse tonight in the Wynn casino so we shall see how it compares. Yeah, all the little bones in the fish were really surprising! I was not expecting any bones and almost swallowed some. I did not like picking them out of my mouth either. Hopefully your experience there is better than mine! Its freezing in Vegas right now! Its like we skipped fall and went straight to winter from summer. But i'm sure its colder in Oregon than it is here. It was also super windy last weekend and some major outdoor festivals got cancelled because of the wind. During the day its around 70 degrees when the sun is out but it gets super cold at night time. I actually have the heater on in my house right now haha. But at least if you move here you won't have to worry about any snow and ice usually haha. There's alot of construction going on at Ballys right now because its transforming into the Horseshoe Casino and with it theres alot of brand new restaurants coming. There's supposed to be a new Chinese restaurant by Martin Yan there opening in the winter that I'm really looking forward to

Haha, I just ate at SW Steakhouse in the Wynn casino and wasn't given menus by the hostess when I first sat down either. So it must be a common thing they do at certain restaurants. Except at SW Steakhouse the waiter came by almost immediately to give us water and menus so I didn't have to wait long there at all.

Haha, yeah they are in a prime spot in downtown Summerlin so they must get alot of foot traffic too. I'm sure the rent is extremely high there. At least La Strega is good and worth the money there haha.

Especially for the price there are better steakhouses in Vegas. I ate at Ruth Chris Steakhouse at Harrah's last week and enjoyed the food much more there because at least I wasn't spending as much money for a steak haha. I guess when I'm spending that much money my standards are much much higher compared to when I'm eating at a chain steakhouse I know what to expect haha.

Haha, I'm not sure it was worth the amount of money I paid either. This place is more expensive than steakhouses on the strip. I remember when you could eat at a nice steakhouse and everything would be less than $100. Everything is so expensive nowadays.
