I personally don't think Harloff ever had any intention when he decided to come back for his "Revenge Tour" for that to lead to a championship opportunity. I honestly think he kind of wanted Bibbiani to win and I think he probably wants Sneider to win. He doesn't want to have the belt because it's not best for the league so to say that it's rigged is ridiculous.

I wish they made seperate questions in round 3 for the 2-3-5-pointers. I know that luck and the element of ''anything can happen'' is vital for keeping the game interesting throughout, but I think just the random categories could be enough. I just feel like 1 of the competitors gets way easier questions to often.

From the 3/3 categories that Kristian picked to how Mark sounded when those choices were picked..maybe it's because I wanted Bibs to win. Will be rewatching it again after emotions have subsided.

It kind of sucks that Kristian won out of luck at the end, because if we meassure knowledge, he and Ellis only know about mainstream Hollywood movies from the 70's onward, Bibbiani not only have that knowledge, the guy knows classics, more obscure films and genres, etc, he doesn't limit himself to know the classic fan favorites, and that knowledge comes from more than a decade of journalism. So when Kristian gets lucky in the third round is kind of a bummer, he didn't deserve that win. Having said all of that, it was still a great match, watching Bibbiani give that kind of performance is always a delight.

Scrolling through the comments and I'm a little disappointed in the posts on the final round being rigged. Harloff loves the Schmodown waaaay to much to ever mess with the integrity of this game. These matches are what they are, luck (either with the wheel or selecting #'s) has ALWAYS been a part of this game. I for one love the unpredictable nature it can cause, giving us some incredible matches and terrific finishes!

Pussy Galore and the tagline to Last Action Hero tagline (which when mentioned is from an Arnie film in the question becomes impossible to miss) while Bibbiani gets Which State the Wonders' hailed from and some obscure Bruce Willis film from the 80s. Not saying it's rigged, but one has to acknowledge the disparity in the difficulty level of these questions. That Pussy Galore question can never in a million years be a 5 pointer.

The questions in the third round were so unfair. I mean Star Wars, Arnie/Sly and Action Adventure are Kristian's strongest strengths and those questions were so easy while Beast got incredibly hard questions

Kristian did have some luck there, no doubt. In fairness to him, the 3 point question wasn't that easy - came from one of Arnold's lesser films; the 5 point question was not necessarily easy either, there are 25 or so Bond films and assigning a Bond girl, even an iconic one, to a particular film isn't that easy. I do agree that the Beast's 3 and 5 point questions were much harder than Kristian's. I don't think there is much they can do about this: they test the questions out on a control group, and assign points based on perceived difficulty.

The point of the Shmoedown is that you have to be able to answer all kinds of questions from all different types of categories. Yes Harloff got some easy questions according to the majority of average movie fans, but he also aced the scores and soundtracks which not a lot of people would get. Sometimes the difficulty of the question is purely subjective imo.

Maybe if Star Wars was his 3 or 5 point question......but it was his 2 point question. The 3rd round to me matters more than the 2nd round to be honest. All you need is the 3 and 5 points to get right and you have a shot if it's a close match. The second round, at least you have multiple choice and an opportunity to steal. But the third round is do or die.....and if you pick numbers that have questions you know, well.......comeback it was in this case.
