Emulation can be illegal if u sell it for money but if u use it for entertainment like gameplay then its not illegal and people wouldn't be that stupid emulate a game then sell it

Agreed, the only major issue I could have with it, is if it is for playing games that are also currently on the market. I mean I feel like emulating retro games, that if they are sold now, are not giving money back to the company. As many people on Ebay or in second hand shops are clearly not giving the money they earn from the game they are selling from the games from previous generations that aren't being supported or sold outright. I do think doing that with current gen stuff isn't right, as you have the option to buy the games and consoles as is. That is clearly hindering sales. But in later generations it will be fine. But that is just my take on it.

Emulation itself is legal regardless of if it's being sold for money or not. Commercial paid emulation is practically ubiquitous in the industry and all the major companies use it in some way. you can also legally emulate games currently on he market if you dump them from your modded console That is legal What's illegal is downloading roms
