From your review I think I would prefer the Fiio. I already have a Harmonicdyne headphone so it would add some more variety to my collection.

Yeah if you already have one of them there really is no need to get the Black Hole. The more expensive ones are superior and in the same price range the JT1 is just the better option for most people.

The jt1 surprised me lol. Its very good for metal and rock concerts, movies and gaming

Yeah its a really nice budget closed back if you want a good "non-reference" sound signature. And comfortable as hell.

It’s down right terrible for movies a booming mess for music and gaming it’s a great headphone makes poor sounding games sound full and better it destroys the sound of movies and booms like crazy even mocking the bass down 2 to 6 clicks doesn’t help

bro...which would be your headphone reccs with low impedance and high sensitivity which can run directly from phone and laptop under $500 and has less qc issue incidence and basically last atleast 5 years and not die randomly lol edit- forgot to add that im well versed with EQing and im eyeing JT1, 32 ohm version FT3 and thieaudio ghost, also i would want high resolution without treble being shoved in the music and resolution is the one thing which is difficult to EQ so yeah main priorities would be high resolution and durability

That sounds like the Austrian Audio X-60 would be a good choice for you. I have the open back version X-65, the 60 is the closed back and sounds equally as good. Its a more neutral sound with well extended bass and treble and good midrange. I also never found these to be "too bright", just very clean sounding without being piercing. If its not enough bass for you, the drivers of the X-60/X-65 are very good for using EQ and take it quite well. Also really damn comfortable and sturdy build, there were some issues with the plastic parts reported by a few users but mine is as good as new and I used it quite often. Both are known (and the X-65 I have confirms that) to be really detailed and excel in separation and stuff. Do not buy the Ghost. Not that its a bad headphone, just that there are better alternatives out there. I think the FT-3 is pretty good too (have not head that one, but Graph and reviews seem pretty good). I alsop reeeeally like Beyerdynamic DT-900 Pro X. Its a great sounding headphone and very easy to drive. Both of these are open-backs though, while the JT-1 is a closed back. So somewhat different perfomance. Edit: And do not look at the other Austrian Audio Headphones, they all have a quite wonky tuning haha.

They discontinued the Athena for this mediocre headphone

Damn really? Didn't even know that. Athena was quiet well liked for warm sound I think.
