Up to the second girl in the beginning it’s good but once the third voice kicks in it gets boring musically real quick First of all, the amount of auto tune on every singers voice 🤧, secondly, the unnecessary octaves 🤢 and thirdly, singing exactly the same notes as the person before but changing the last two notes 🤮 This is musical “genius” for people who have no idea how to make really interesting music. “Adding a bass part“ and then just singing the first melody one octave lower…that’s not exactly how bass is done. I know I shouldn’t be too hard with these people because probably none of them are actual musicians and people generally prefer the same old and simple musical regurgitation but it’s just boring musically. Even though most of of the time 3rds sound super boring and cheesy, I see that the good people harmonizing in thirds in this video are at least doing something that actually makes sense

And stop this music genius thing no one said they are music genius. You can try and post your own harmony with your friends if you have one. Then I'll try to criticize it.

@@janineannethomas1248 It’s called “harmonies”, which is specifically a musical term. I am a musician and therefore expected interesting harmonies. Instead I found non-harmonies. As a musician I think that sucks. If these videos are for non musicians, forget what I said. It’s not perfectionism, it’s expecting more than the same old boring minimum from a video that promises harmonies. It’s as if a gamer makes a video called “skills” in which he’s playing a game but plays really without any skill. Forgive me for actually knowing my s***
