O come to the altar The Father's arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ Oh what a Savior! Isn't He wonderful? Sing hallelujah Christ is risen Bow down before Him For He is Lord of all Sing hallelujah Christ is risen

I have been trying to learn alto harmony for a few years now. Sometimes I can hear it and get it, and sometimes not but with your tutorial I can hear my part and sing along and remember it! Thank you so much!

Can you show the harmony part by itself? I'm new to singing harmony and when you have both i want to sing the melody and it's hard for me to decipher the harmony.

Hi Pia! I'm not able to re-do this video in a new way right now, but I do have a harmony course on www.theworshipvocalist.com that I would recommend to you, if you want to learn how to sing worship harmony by ear!

I think her videos are stereo so when you plug in your earphones, youll hear different parts on both ends, they will not be combined. As for me, I hear the melody on the right and the harmony on the left 😊

Do you think you could do a video on the basic principles of singing harmony? I am naturally inclined to hearing and singing harmonies and am having trouble helping/teaching the other vocalists on our worship team and having a video (or series) to point them to on the basics would be so helpful! Love all your videos, btw! So so helpful!

Hi Bethany! I have an 11-lesson series teaching all the foundational principles for singing harmony for worship songs -- it's available exclusively for subscribers to my online training site www.theworshipvocalist.com. Here's the link to those specific videos -- theworshipvocalist.com/category/harmony/. For vocalists on your team who are wanting to learn harmony, you can recommend that they get a subscription so they can go through the videos, or we also have team subscription rates if you want your whole team to be able to access the videos -- theworshipvocalist.com/team-subscriptions/. You can email us at sing@theworshipvocalist.com if you have any questions!

Thank you thank you thank you. I sing at my church, but I'm not good at harmonies so the music pastor usually just has me singing an octave higher, which does not sound very good.

Could you do a harmony piece for the key of D?? For a "female" key led melody? These are so helpful!!
@worshipvocalist6 жыл бұрын
I may perhaps do one in the future, but I try to stick close to the original keys as a first priority for songs!

When I sing by myself and sing at a low tone I sound pretty good but when I have to sing louder and can't here myself my voices sounds off and not clear either I am monotoned or too high pitched because since I can't here myself I naturally try to match the person singing

Are you hurting and broken within? Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin? Jesus is calling Have you come to the end of yourself? Do you thirst for a drink from the well? Jesus is calling O come to the altar The Father's arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ Leave behind your regrets and mistakes Come today, there's no reason to wait Jesus is calling Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy From the ashes, a new life is born Jesus is calling O come to the altar The Father's arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood!... Oh what a Savior Isn't He wonderful? Sing hallelujah, Christ is risen Bow down before Him For He is Lord of all Sing hallelujah, Christ is risen O come to the altar The Father's arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ!... O come to the altar The Father's arms are open wide Forgiveness was bought with The precious blood of Jesus Christ! The Father's arms are open wide
