Media has the right to ask questions, however it must be relevant, sensitive and considerate to the interviewee and the occasion. Asking questions is not enough, asking right questions to right people on right occasion should be the goal for media. It was clear that Harnaaz was not comfortable with the kind of questions asked however she handled it brilliantly but let's not take that granted. People should be celebrated for their achievements and contribution, they shouldn't be put in uncomfortable situations just for the sake of entertainment.

Well, that is why Miss Universe organization always screen or choose the most righteous candidate during the pageant in order to represent the organization worldwide without creating unwanted press release (since press conference their main business). Wining of International title holders recognitions or Political debate event? Indian media always always do this they don’t know when and where to ask! Just because something is current affair topic don’t try to fit that in at every event! There is time and event for everything.That’s the reality why most of celebrities gets offended! You have all the rights to ask questions but see what is the event first! If Harnaz was here not for her home coming celebration but rather for a cause event like HIV awareness, Smile train, women’s menstruation awareness etc than if your question is relevant to any of the event go ahead and ask.
