In all fairness New Zealand did produce a pacer who went on to be the dam of the world Champion Genghis Khan who ruled the Meadowlands in the late 1970's. Robin Dundee was bred to Meadow Skipper to produce the world champion Genghis Khan.

Mission Brief was a true world champion whose two year old world record of 1:50.3 October 2nd at The Red Mile could stand for 50 years or more and she did it at the start of October not in December. Mission Brief was a true world champion with speed only comparable to Dan Patch at the turn of the century.

I was the only person on planet earth to tell the world about Bulldog Hanover and the greatness to come after his very first race as a 2 year old right on Woodbine replays. He was a $28,000 yearling. I picked him out of 2,200 yearlings to rule the world of harness racing. I also told the world about Sylvia Hanover being a world champion at age 2 and age 3 after her very first race.😁

Pulled off a huge upset in the race of the century against the great Bret Hanover who would have beaten him soundly 99 times out of 100. This was the one time out of one hundred.

Bret Hanover could even make World Champion legends out of pigs like Farm Norah to produce Fan Hanover. But what happens when you bred a top notch filly like Chin Chin to Bret Hanover? You end up with Somebeachsomewhere. No one has ever heard of Cardigan Bay producing anything.

@@parkerbohnn Cardigan Bay was a gelding. Neutered animals can't reproduce. One of the greatest trotters of all time, Greyhound, was also a gelding. The horse Onion, who beat Secretariat once, was also a gelding. (Jan Griffiths).

Saw him race once. It was at Brandywine Raceway in Wilmington, Delaware, late 60s. He came in 2nd. Don't recall the name of the horse who beat him.

Is this a joke? The horse never raced against the best pacers in the world in America and then when he finally did he was lucky to even hit the board on the show ticket. At the time Bret Hanover was the world champion and great sire.

He had an op on his leg when he had broken a stiffle. When meeting Brett Hanover he was 11, bh was 4yrs, and gave him a hiding. So only one can guess, your meds are not up to date, or you are on Crack.

How old were they respectively? Bret Hanover wouldn't have got near Cardigan Bay when he was a four year old. He was drawing a pension when he beat him fair and square. Bret Hanover had the drop on him and couldn't get near him.

@@Souljah2008 Cardigan Bay would have been destroyed by Bret Hanover in a match race. The two never raced against each other in a match race. A match race only involves 2 horses. Like I said before Cardigan Bay might beat Bret Hanover one in a hundred times on a half mile oval with a short stretch. On a one mile track Bret Hanover would open up about ten lengths on Cardigan bay.
