Dear Stella Adler Studio of Acting...do you have any idea how long I have been pestering PBS to air this program? Thank you so very much for bringing this wonderful biography for all to see. I saw it when it was originally broadcast. When? I think it was in the 1980's. Harold was a visionary. the thing that caught my attention was his energy, his vibrancy, his passion for Life. I have read many of his books, although I have never acted in anything, except a grammar school play in Newark, back in 1959. What we need so desperately, now as never before, are men and women with his sense of Life, his passion, his "damn the torpedos---FULL SPEED AHEAD! God Bless You, Harold. I hope to meet you...someday.
