Can’t forget about Bobby Eli and Vinnie Barrett they wrote much of Blue Magic’s early work. Also have to mention Norman Harris, Linda Creed, Dexter Wansel and a whole host of others that were part of the movement that was going on in the 70’s in the City of Brotherly Love.

He insisted on writing EVERY part you hear on a Thom Bell production, no matter how subtle the guitar ad-lib or position of cymbal crash. When he'd visit labels to have meetings, execs would take one look at Linda Creed and say, "You can leave your [white] girlfriend in the lobby."
