When I saw the actual sarkaz record for this map on arkrec (I'll leave the link for it below) I thought something was wrong. Turned out that you indeed didn't need Surtr. Mudrock being abke to safely stall Harold during p1 makes my life easier, moving Hoederer to chip him down as much as possible without passing the phase before the storm was over. There are a couple of rng checks, being Hoederer's stuns on phase 2 wave and Nightingale s3 right after. If Hoederer doesn't stun enough, he leaks, if Nightingale doesn't make Hoederer dodge enough, he dies from those damn 1.5k atk spray cans. the cages are used to give the poor mercenary a little breathing room from snipers from time to time. Cm should be possible with a similar strat. This time, Muddy wouldn't be able to tank Harold in p2 as well as in Nm, so Surtr is needed to adjust his hp, so that it's possible to use Mud s3 to make her pass the icicle skill safely. Surtr would also be needed early, as it won't be possible to wake up the beasts when Mudrock is present due to the 20 dp cost.

There are a few things that surprised me here. First is, mudrock's capability to stall harold. Second is, nightingale capability to facetank six, i repeat, SIX, nukes. My whole squad got wiped just by 3 nukes !!! Third is, the fact that the stall was sooooo long that the stage no longer inflict cold, lmao. Great clear all in all.

For normal mode, the stall is completely free on p1, it needs a few activations on p2, or none if you use Hoederer's shelter talent. The safe stall crumbles easily on cm due to the atk buff, sadly. Nightingale's duty was literally to just dodge. Grinded many times the laneholding part on p2 bcs Hoederer didn't dodge enough of the spray cans attacks and died. That was the part where cn used Surtr to help Warf and Hoederer survive. The end is kind of free, even with Ng not dodging, Hoederer has 10k hp, can easily survive, same for Mud and her shields. The stall wasn't that long, or at least didn't feel like it cuz I moved Hoederer around to weaken Harold before going back to laneholding. It was pretty satisfying. Cm could be done with more rng on the laneholding side, Hoederer has to stun on most of his attacks. It would need a 4th op to help the stall, either Shining or Surtr. Sadge I woke up late for this clear, waiting last 3 days lmao, so got no time to grind cm.

@@crow5457 So its an RNG grind, huh. No wonder it looks so easy because its actually not, lmao. Anyway, that was great to watch. I feel uneasy the moment i realize you only have one flint left and wondered "This means... 6 nukes in total. Holy F how did nightingale even survive 4 of those???" Anyway, great clear. It remind me why i choose to become a meta slave. Aint no way i am grinding those RNG, lmao.

​​@@vanzeralltheway8638As much as I like this niche, it is riddled with rng effects starting from the lower rarities like Midnight and Vigna 😂. It's not that bad once you get used to it, as they aren't needed most of the time
