Seemed like a lovely man, very humble and great comic actor. Stripes was the first film I watched with him in it and Bill Murray and he bounced off each other.

10:10 what a brilliant word of advice. I would never have thought of it like this, as a person who struggles with anxiety, this just changed my perspective... I try to be such an open minded person but this takes the cake
@kirbygene2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for pointing that out! It was brilliant and he delivered it in a matter-of-fact, non-preachy way which made it even more powerful as advice.

Just saw Ghostbusters: Afterlife at my local movie theatre, what a great epilogue to the original movies and a fine tribute to Harold Ramis. Ghostbusters (1984) is still my all-time favorite movie thanks to the work of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson the rest of the cast, crew and director Ivan Reitman put into it. It is safe to say that Murray, Aykroyd and Ramis really shaped my views on comedy. Rarely have these three men failed to make laugh with their work.

Ramis was always one of my favorite performers on SCTV. I loved him in movies as well but never realized he had done so much in terms of writing and directing. He was a talented individual. RIP Harold.

One of the all-time greats of comedy. The films he wrote and co-wrote changed the medium. IMHO, he walked away with Stripes, even if it was cut to keep Murray front and center. I'm even told by friends who were lucky enough to know him that he was a very, very nice person, on top of it all.
