Harper was a great player no doubt, John Starks going cold in game 7 is the reason the Rockets won.

It was unfair for the Knicks, bcoz they are burdened by Oakley. If Knicks traded oak for a SF like Chris Mullin or Kendall Gil, or a Cedric ceballos or somebody who can run fastbreaks and shoot 3s, maybe the Knicks cud have won a championship. And I pick maxwell over Richmond all day any day

D HARP was tough was better1on1 ball handler then Houstons backcourt . RUDY T should have put Clyde Drexler at the 3spot and still kept Maxwell at the 2spot because Clyde speed couldn't keep up with the younger 2guards but he was still serviceable though.

Once Max left the Rockets their backcourt was abused on the regular. None of the remaining (nor future) guards could defend worth a damn

@@morecowbell235 Puhleeze Dream was bailing Vernon out and making him look better than he did. MJ dropped 48 on Vernon/Stack in Philly. MJ never even came close to scoring like that when Dream was there. What'd Vernon do after Houston? Jump from team to team and go nowhere whatsoever.
@morecowbell235 Жыл бұрын
@@FuShengAlex I'm sure Hakeem bailed him out plenty. Doesn't change the fact that the backcourt was soft and got even softer after Maxwell left . Some names that come to mind: smith, brooks, gollum, drew, francis..

Clyde wasn't on the team yet when they played NY in the Finals.
