It's hard to pick a favorite episode... it's maybe the tiniest bit easier to pick a favorite moment of comedy from each episode, though that's still very hard. The best gag this episode was probably the whole domino effect of the croquet mallet head flying off leading to so much more and ending up with the rump, since it just kept building on itself and got increasingly hilarious. The writing in general is my absolute favorite thing, though. As a punster myself, I love how so many lines in the show gain a different meaning in the context of what has gone wrong (such as the rump or "I don't know how much longer I can hold on"). The bigger question is: What hasn't yet gone wrong? Not much... um, you haven't switched around pre-recorded video clips? Actors haven't ended up in each other's costumes (Robert and Dennis switching would be highly comedic, or Max and Robert so Max could have his clothes fall off while grinning again)?
@Xhadp Жыл бұрын
I love that mallet goes wrong sequence. The reason I love it so much is that it became an in-universe mistake so it is written as if it was part of the storyline intended to happen. And not just a simple "equipment malfunction" that leads to other mistakes. They alluded to it raining which in a normal situation would mean just putting a sprinkler outside to show that and not mess with the house one bit if there was a hole in the prop roof. But no we saw the mallet go through the roof so they had to set up a roof leak which would only be done with the prior mallet through the roof sequence which wouldn't be possible if that was a "genuine mistake". This sequence then conveys to the audience that it was actually raining outside during their feast. After that though was just general Goes Wrong Tomfoolery.
