I totally agree with the both of you Queen Sister's when it comes to putting not just our daughter's, but children overall should take sports, arts, etc. I will say for myself, I studied ballet, graham, and dunham when I was growing up. Although I don't dance anymore, I have to say that dance has saved me from a lot of distractions that came before me in my life. I don't dance anymore, however I support it to the fullest.

Venus is her own person. She has a good head on her shoulders and has inner confidence and control over her ego. She is independent in that sense. Serena needs Venus, looks ip to her and is a better person because of Venus. On her own Serena struggles with jealousy and insecurity. She really struggles with sportsmanship, selfishness, and an ego that needs feeding. She struggles without constant positive reinforcement. But she is finally self assessing and has acknowledged her shortcomings in sportsmanship. Venus knew to take Richards lessons with a grain of salt, while Serena to them to heart without question or balance. Venus has been an adult in the room for Serena. Serena is very fortunate to have her as a sister and friend.

First of all, I have enjoyed following the Williams sisters all these years, but I disagree with if you have the same job, you should receive the same pay. Female athletes get paid less because, in general, the professional sports leagues that female athletes are involved with have smaller audiences and generate a lot less revenue than male professional sports leagues. Damn, I guess Queen Rena isn't coming back to the court judging from her conditioning and shape. She's somewhat heavy to compete competitively in tennis these days. Don't get me wrong, these girls really aren't all that good and would be bashed to hell by the Queen, but the queen is way older than most of them, injury-prone, and doesn't recover nearly as fast as they will, so by sure nature they have a big advantage now. Also, MOST to of them know the Queen's game inside out because they grew up watching her and I'm sure their coaches have stolen all or several parts of the Queen's game. I was obsessed with Rena for years and have been so down and out since she's pretty much retired. I held out hope for the past couple of years that she'd be back, but I'm not sure about that now.
