[Kia Sorento] Calibrating the handbrake / e-brake

There is supposed to be a nylon bush on the main bolt ,no longer available from Kia .my own is still there but split,tried to get new bolt & bush ,only place left are scrap yards.

This is the bolt for the handbrake? I guess anything would do as long as it makes the gap and allows the arm to move

Great video next on list the hand brake locked on with it in release position so need to check if needs new shoes or not. Very good video. Does a 2.5/3ton trolly jack hold the weight to put axle stands

How to change the handbrake cable on 2005 Kia sorento

I haven’t looked into it. I’m guessing you undo the nut 🔩 in the hand brake cover and pull it all out from under the car

My bracket is seized what can i do

Loads of wd40 and let it sit for 24 hrs and then gently hit/tap it back and forth to get to get it go move
