This harpsichord is available for sale on eBay. We've been very happy with it, but we have moved and no longer have a good space for it in the house. It is a single manual instrument (built from a kit in 1974, most likely one of the Zuckermann Flemish models) with two sets of strings -- 8 foot and 4 foot. It has everything ready for another set of 8 foot strings if you choose to string it. It comes with lots of extra wire of many gauges for replacing strings or adding another set, along with plenty of jacks, plectra, and many other parts and tools for maintenance, including a tuning tool (often needed for harpsichords!). In this video I first demonstrate playing a quiet piece on the 8 foot strings, followed by a louder piece with both the 8 foot and 4 foot strings. I then play a chromatic scale on the 8 foot strings to show all the notes playing (except top F# and G, which are currently not strung). I conclude with part of the Aria from Bach's Goldberg Variations to give you another example of this instrument in action.
