I used to be at my grandfathers house and listen to all sorts of classical and chamber music. They had no tv. Except for a small tv upstairs. Downstairs they had the living room and the family room. My grandma and grandpa would sit for hours on end and read these giant novels while listening to classical music. It gave me such a sense of culture. They loved to travel and read and listen to classical music. But were very down to earth people as well. They knew the value of hard work and hard love. I still miss them and listening to classical music is a way i can feel connected to them even after they have passed on.

That's stretching it. This work is really not that "dark". His Sonata in A minor could have had the influence of his mother's death. Not the case with this. It was probably commissioned by a noble for an occasion, and of course, the upper class wouldn't want too much "emo" or other dark emotions during an event that should be more pleasant or festive.

Here's a detailed explanation of this piece, and happy Halloween everyone!! The genre of the song is serenade for strings which is a chamber music. It was composed in 1787 by Mozart and the translation of the title is A Little Night Music. The performing forces of this song is double string quartet with double bass and it is often performed by a string orchestra. The first movement is in G major and it is a sonata form. The tempo is allegro, and the meter is 4/4. In the exposition, the first theme is in unison, and it outlines the tonic, then dominant seventh chords. It is a homophonic texture and the melodic line is played by a violin. In the bridge, it modulates to the dominant key, which is D major. The first violins outline a G major triad, followed by ascending scale movement leading to a D major. For the second them group, it contrasts with the first theme and the melody begins with a playful downward turn. It also features a triplet figure and piano dynamic level. On bar 36-40, it was built from a repeated eighth-note figure that creates an insistent quality and on bar 51-55, all instruments play briefly in unison, ending with an authentic cadence in D major and repeated signs are usually observed in performance. In the short development on bar 70-76, it begins with first-theme material in D major and quickly moves from D major to C major, then features material from theme 2b. The end of the development emphasizes the dominant to prepare the listener for the return of the main theme in the tonic key. In the Recapitulation, the first theme returns exactly as it was presented in the exposition. The bridge unexpectedly cadences in D major as in the exposition. The second theme group fulfills the listener's expectations and the song returns into G major. The coda grows out of the codetta, ending with a reference to the first theme. The key for the second movement is in C major and it is in Rondo form. The tempo is Adante and the meter is 2/2. In section A, the character is lyrical, understated, simple, and elegant. It unfolds over a tonic pedal, and the balance is achieved through four-measure phrases with clear-cut cadences. Also, the internal structure of this section is rounded binary form. In section B, a new melody is introduced and becomes more active rhythmically. The melodic line is also embellished. In section C, a new key is introduced: C minor. It has imitative dialogue between the outer parts. There is also repeated sixteenth-note figure in inner voices which is more active, creating restless character. Returning to section A, the key also returns in C major. In the Coda, it grows out of Section A material and brings the movement to a gentle close. The key for the third movement is in G major and it is a ternary form. The tempo is allegretto and the meter is 3/4. For the menuet, the internal structure is rounded binary and the phrases are typically four measures long. It is loud with robust character. The dance-like quality reinforced through rhythmic accentuation. For the trio, it includes a new key: D major. Contrast is achieved through sotto voce indication; more lyrical character and legato lines. There are more chromatic inflections than in the menuet. There is also the sotto voce which is a subdued, gentle character lowering the volume level as if to a whisper. Then it goes back to the Menuet, which the key returns to G major. For the fourth movement, the key is in G major and it is a sonata-rondo form. The tempo is allegro and the meter is 2/2. In the first theme, there is spirited, light-hearted character. The theme opens with a rocket theme that outlines the tonic arpeggio. In the second theme, it begins with a downward turn of a minor sixth and it is in a stepwise motion. It also employs some chromatic embellishments.

"sir weezy" Jan 2016 « _179 dislikes? I can't find anything that could be better_ » The 1st reflex when not understanding someone is to think he is stupid. Some write at once based on this sole 1st impression, many more understand that the other too most probably has a brain, a heart, a sensibility, a wide (and possibly quite different) scope of interests, and surely a wide array of thoughtful reasons for the opinions and POV he displayed, as strange as they 1st look; as Darwin himself pointed ("Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge"), the most educated and instructed people rarely find someone else stupid. Here, while you indeed will probably find no or little people disliking the written music played, or not believing it was really written by a man called Mozart, you may find some who regret the relatively modern way it is played (with heavy "nuances", quite different from the 1950s, where there was less "TVish" immediate reactions to everything and more subtle resonance from listeners with the composer), or the way the sound is captured and the audio rendered. I am of those, and even after I thumbed up that video (and globally appreciated it highly), I still fully understand that some educated listeners and musicians can also dislike it. It never ceases to amaze me how this song, and many others of many different genres, have the ability to make tears flow and send chills down the spine. Music like this is SOO much more than the sum of it's parts, it's more than notes played by different instruments and combined. It's like a spell that's cast upon the listener, transcending the boundaries of space and time, transporting us to a place of pure, unadulterated joy.

tear's ? huh guess that proves each perspective is truly different. .....tear's ? huh i never would have gotten to tears from this time line im in maybe if a close friend or loved one passed and this was their favorite, anyhow , i just stopped in to tell the ones who dont know and remind the ones that that do ....lean in close this is a big one. Everyone ready ? cool , cool ok here it is "never forget the spaces between the notes are music also" well maybe not at 128 bpm lol but you get the idea if not , then imagine your favorite song without said silence between the notes ...it's not hard to imagine because if the song was 3 minutes long it would be a 3 minute tone lol...think of Bolero or we will rock you , hell i would almost say its the most important parts since for the note side we got 12 notes not counting octaves because its not a different note just higher or lower pitched but still just 12 separate unique notes only 1.) A 2.) A sharp B flat 3.)B 4.) C 5.) C sharp D flat 6.) D 7.) D sharp E flat 8.) E 9.) E sharp F flat 10.) F 11.) F sharp G flat 12.) G lol every piece of music ever was created with these 12 notes , it's like you have a magic can of paint that can hold a chosen color till instructed not to and can mix any variation or shade of any color visible in the 400 nm to 700 nm scale we all know and love till instructed to stop.... cool huh ? well just like music if there were no dark light would work just not too well lol So to recap Music is a complex maelstrom of vibration and emotion but it is nothing with out silence ....... and hell im here and i did mention the visible light scale 400 nm to 700 nm and warning this is so far off topic its bottom- ic so music is nothing without silence , colored light is all there is with out dark . yeah , well riddle me this Batman atoms which are comprised of smaller fundamental particles that by now if you cant name at least 3 of the innards of an atom you should just take out your human race membership card and hand it to person waiting with scissors thank you please proceed to species retraining .....next! lol well take it from atoms are small very small , smaller than the number of humans that can and do grasp and understand how immense the uni/omni/ verse actually is and just to simplify it a smidge the number of people that do is 0.00000000000000000000 so no one , zero with the -1aspect disallowed is truly 0 non-existence like atoms and sub atomic particles proton, neutron , electron that are really all "except electron " .just Quarks and as they say 2 is a quiet std and 3 is a crowed . when 3 quarks are in close proximity guess what they can just turn in to whatever they want in sub atomic particle land like a proton or a neutron ...ok step one disoriented from long reply..check! step two fracture base reality's frame work and setup and install new apparatus .."greased handle of reality grasping -4 to all wisdom and intelligence checks " check! step three. release causal feedback loop as being attempts to grasp greasy reality to create a laminar flow minimal distortion cause and effect loop in beings grasp and perception of this reality light at 400 nm to 700 nm is too large or otherwise not able to bounce/reflect efract off of any atom ever and it never will be able to photons are too big to reflect off atoms , this statement is 100% true .... summary too much typing , grasp of reality of vict...subject pre measuring unknown variable , music fucking rules and last but not before music ruling is , this realities parameters are incorrect ....final summary , everything is electromagnetic energy here, we are, our thoughts are , along with everything around us is LIGHT that cant do the thing that we say it does for us to see or even be .....lmao // that's right photons are to massive to bounce/reflect or anything off of atoms which in turn is what everything is made from// if you feel as though the shock or queasiness is wearing off please reread last comment denoted by // // and all will return to what you believe is normal ... and yes i am still a bit disheveled about ... tears for Eine kleine Nachtmusik but it seems this is the reality we inhabit ... one love and be good to each other 100 years of this place is not long and there's only room for one thing in everyone's grave ...most of all remember ..."No screaming cause it's all in your head.

Eye nuh... Kly nuh... Nacht is a N like know, A like Ah C with the hard German C and the ht Is also a bit thicker. Musik is just a German accent and music. Eine Kleine Nachtmusick, can also be asked for as Mozart's a little night music, or a bit of evening music. And songs have lyrics, classical music fans prefer people to use the word piece for a piece of music. You can also say composition and they won't rudely sigh at you.

It's a purely descriptive name. A little serenade is what it really means. Serenades were understood as a musical form and not in the romantic sense people think of now.

My father taught me Mozart, Bach and Beethoven, he owned a cd of Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and it was one of my first of several encounters with classical music, and I love him for sharing this with me. He spoke German and our last name, as far as I know is Germanic-English in origin, Brown. I went through a phase in High School and Middle School where I would steal from his wallet to buy weed, cocaine and crystal meth which drove him crazy as he was older and his mind was slipping. He had a fondness for antiques, americana and sharing his knowledge with people and other than flipping his antiques which I went with him to buy at the Pasadena and long beach flea markets, he devoted all his time to his students and watching PBS and listening to NPR, which he would listen too as he corrected his student's papers.

When I first performed this i was thrilled , listening to this brought lots of happy memories, i remember sitting in the viola section by myself and seeing each other as we musicians connect through eye contact during rests, and our similar parts within the music.
@adriannafelton22203 жыл бұрын
I had a very similar experience when i first performed this. I feel like the best way to connect with someone is to play music with them, because you can convey so much more through music. I remember being in the Violin 1 section and watching the cellos, and being totally enthralled by the fact that i was a part of the beautiful sound that i heard.
