African crowned eagles (look a lot like harpy eagles but a different continent and different colour) did hunt our ancestors back in the day and now eat monkeys, so i wouldnt say this flying phorusrhachid couldn't catch a body

He's a beautiful bird! I've always had a long interest in Harpy Eagles after seeing an illustration of one in an old bird book as a child. Love all eagles but the Harpy always stood out. Great upload! 🦅👍

Nearby my house there's a family of Harpy eagles we let them take the chickens lol my family Raised chicken to Feed the Harpy haha and they just take them they're actually very gentle and Calm Watching everything at distance they could spend a lot of time watching The prey is actually interesting... I noticed the zoos and animal refuges always have the smaller male Harpies. I'm guessing because most of the handlers are usually females and they aren't strong enough to hold a big female Harpy on their arm for long.

I am from Panama and natives have a tale that Harpy Eagle hunts children when food shortage comes. That's why they never leave a child alone without adult supervision. Just a fact :)
