Vinfast is making a big launch in the Indian Market with $500 Million investment plans in its Tamil Nadu plant to make more than new SUVs in India and even export to other markets. The Vinfast VF3 is a small 2-door SUV with big sized wheels and the VF5 is the Ultimate electric Tata Nexon EV rival and the Vinfast VF6 will rival with the Hyundai Creta and the Vinfast VF7 will rival with the Harrier and the VF8 will rival with the XUV700 and the ultimate VF9 is an 8 seater SUV with size bigger than the Defender and Features like 400 Hp.

Vinfast are literally the worst rated car in america. All the auto reviewers said the fit and finish are too cheap for the price and ride quality and suspensions are super bad. Its a very young brand and they really lack a car makers experience. There's no point investing 45 lakhs for a vinfast. Better to wait for Tesla or maybe go for byd.

Because Tamil Nadu has pre existing infrastructure and ecosystem and skilled workers in automobile manufacturing. They have many car manufacturing plants and R&D Centres of Tata,Mahindra, ashok leyland ,bmw,hyundai,royal enfield etc and many auto component manufacturers too.it is called detroit of asia. UP does not have any of that and skilled workers is also a issue
