Maybe it's not Vivaldi that they don't like, after-all, they came here to listen to it. Maybe it's the weird video... it's different performances with one recording... which one is real? Why did they do it that way? Most people want to see a real performance. The emotion would be different with different situations. Why present two situations, yet one emotion and experience? Makes no sense. so I get why people would down-vote. I didn't, but... I get why people would.

Nett, aber nicht mehr. Das Cum dederit hat einen Text, der in dieser Instrumentalfassung verlorengeht. Man höre sich dies Stück mit dem Countertenor Philippe Jarousky an, da ist meine Seele berührt. Auch die Aufnahme mit Andreas Scholl lässt mich erschaudern, wenn auch nicht ganz so stark. Dies hier ist ein schönes Stück Musik, aber es berührt mich nicht.

Translation: Nice, but not more. The cum dederit has a text that is lost in this instrumental version. If you listen to this piece with the countertenor Philippe Jarousky, my soul is touched.
