"He charged people per cushion... percussion." RIP Harris

I've been listening to this series of Harris's Phone Corner and so far this is something that I've noticed from the comments: some people maybe don't understand that when the other comedians are giving Harris a hard time/ interrupting/ ripping on him, it's is not "for real" antagonistic; they probably all know each other and are friends. Also the bit is supposed to be that Harris presents really crap jokes, so it wouldn't work if the other comedians *didn't* give him a hard time. That's part of what makes it work. I know it's not funny to explain humor but I thought people were getting salty bc they misunderstood the dynamic. Also Harris Wittels seemed really cool and the fact that the was a leading TV writer at a relatively young age says a lot about his comedy skills-- I really admire that 👍

he's a comedian's comedian. the "bad" jokes are funny because these comedians have all written jokes before too so they understand. being able to make comedy legends laugh like that is absolutely something to be proud of. R.I.P. Harris!!

Phone corner is so perfect for an improv show. It's not just bombing on purpose, it's specifically handing your friends a dumb premise that they then have to do something with. It's like dropping a hand grenade in a room and then someone has to jump on it.

Kroll Show was possibly the worst supposedly "Good" comedy show ever. Also Nick is solely responsible for 9/11.
