The Warriors went 67-15 this past season, and everyone's crediting Curry, Thompson, Draymond Green, etc. But the Warriors wouldn't be where they are, and wouldn't be champs or that matter, if they didn't have a very solid supporting cast. Harrison Barnes is an integral part to that supporting cast. His reliable corner 3, explosive dunks, and more consistent jump shot this year was a key part of what made the Warriors even more deadly this past year. Defenses often focus on Curry and Klay Thompson and take away their 3-point looks, which usually always leaves someone (in this case, Barnes) open for a 3 in the corner. This year, Barnes made those shots regularly, and took the Warriors to a new level offensively.

Mfers talking about his dribble? Handles? This boy has one of the smoothest handles in the league. Dont get caught up in what media ppl say. Not saying he is going to be better, but remember this, Tracy McGrady left to become his own Star after three years. I would love to see HB go somewhere he is needed. He is a Superstar in waiting. All he needs is shots. One of the best in the game if you ask me.

DUB NATION 2005 Good call, I've always thought Harrison would turn into a star, this last season was a big step, but next season he could break out. I can see someone missing time due to injury and Barnes getting the extra minutes and showing his potential even more. Warriors will defend their crown well, but it will be much tougher this time around.

One of the most athletic players in the league. He gets so high off of one dribble even in a crowded lane for that slam. Add a 40% three point shot and a handle game to the mix and that's Barnes. Give him a couple years to mature (he's only 23) and he'll be a max player

HB has great range and above average defense but he's on a loaded team that commands lots of defensive distractions. He's not proven himself to be a stand alone option. He moves great without the ball but would need to end up on a passing team like the Spurs or really work on his ability to create his own shot. Not a max player at this point in time.
@kenpang19528 жыл бұрын
Then u think parsons is better than this guy? I dun think so
@Mykford18 жыл бұрын
+Ken Pang....let me clarify, not a max player per the old agreement. Parsons defense has slipped since his rookie year and he's too fragile. When healthy he's proven to be a decent all around player and his biggest upside compared to Barnes is his playmaking ability. HB may end up being that guy but I can't give em that just yet.

***** Draymond Green is a well below average 3 point shooter. After the Splash bro's, who is the Warriors next best 3 pt shooter? It's Barnes and its not close. You need more than just 2 great 3 point shooters.
@cjbuford45369 жыл бұрын
***** Draymond doesnt really pull anyone away from the basket. His threes are always wide open and he's still shooting like 24% from three in the playoffs. And he only shot 33% in the regular season on mooch threes, he's not a stretch 4
@cjbuford45369 жыл бұрын
***** Dude calm down, I think Draymond is the second best player on the Warriors. I agree with how good you think he is. My point is just he's not a good shooter. If he could bumps his 3pt% from 32% to 36%, that would be HUGE and he'd legitimitely drag bigs all the way to the arc. My point is that he's not a very good 3 point shooter. I'm not hating, he's a great player. In terms of their offseason, it wouldn't surprise me to see them trade Lee and Bogut and then resign Draymond (max), Barnes (12m/year) and Festus (5m/year)
