People keep comparing this to T’challa not being recast and saying Marvel is being inconsistent, let’s be real though, Chadwick’s face is famous around the world for being Black Panther, he played that character in 4 different billion dollar movies as a major figure. People have developed an affinity for that character and Chadwick’s portrayal has become a thing of cultural significance. Although Ross has appeared in multiple films, he is not a character on that level of cultural influence and neither is the older Cassie Lang, the average filmgoers will not have a hard time adjusting to a new Ross and I promise you they will not even notice there’s a new Cassie. This is just us film buffs who are sweating over this and no one else.

Speaking as a trained actor... I guarantee you there is no way in a million years Harrison Ford is playing Red Hulk if he's not doing the full mocap for it. Acting doesn't just happen from the head up, there are character choices made in even something as subtle as posture or wrist movement, etc. Harrison Ford is definitely the type of actor who would never be okay in a million years with ONLY doing the head movements, and not doing the bodywork, if he was playing Red Hulk. That alone makes me think he's probably not playing that part of the character (or he is and he's just insane), and that he's only playing Ross.

I don't get Campea's issue with not having savage Hulk anymore. One of Bruce Banner's biggest goals in Hulk stories is to either cure himself of the Hulk, or failing that, at least be able to control Hulk better so he can have somewhat of a normal life. It's almost like he doesn't want the character to develop. Not saying that I would say no to a savage Hulk coming back at some point, but to keep criticizing certain projects (and I find Professor Hulk to be a much more interesting and refreshing direction for the character) just seems odd to me. I mean, show some more dimension for the character, please?

Savage Hulk was also seen in the first two Avengers films when the mind-controlled Hawkeye attacked the Helicarrier in the first film and when Wanda cast the spell on him in Age of Ultron. Even then, it was strongly implied at the end of the 2008 film that Bruce had at least learned to control Savage Hulk, so having less of Savage Hulk going on from that point forward makes sense story-wise.

Love Harrison ford but I’d preffer the badass Stephen Lang to be Ross instead. Also that just shows they’re full of it over there with the whole too soon to recast coz It’s been what like a few months since William hurt died?? Clearly it’s never to soon for someone to be recast.

As much as I like Harrison Ford, I think they should've casted younger. How long will it be before Thunderbolt Ross is recast yet against because Ford no longer wants to do the role or God forbid something worse? And let's not forget, this is the same guy who has wanted Han Solo dead just because, essentially. Viggo Mortensen would've been a better choice. But oh well.

Well, he's listed on the Thuinderbolts IMDB page...But seriously, he's 80 years old...I don't care how healthy he is technically, he could still die at any time just because he's old! How many movies could we possibly have from him at this point? 2? Maybe 3 at most with the way they keep delaying thing? It's unfortunate we've lost both Chadwick Boseman and William Hurt. Harrison Ford is a great actor and he's the perfect choice to replace William Hurt as The Hulk and The Avenger's nemesis Senator Thaddeus "Thunderbolt' Ross.
