The Duke of Edinburgh left hospital this week only to be greeted by a worsening family feud. It was 'genuinely shocking' that details of Prince Harry's private family phone calls were leaked to TV presenter pal Gayle King, says the Mail's Richard Eden, how can Charles and William be sure that they're they know they're not being recorded when they call Harry? This seems to have spurred the Palace onto positive PR push notes the Mail on Sunday's diarist Charlotte Griffiths, following the maxim 'when they go low, we go high'. One thing's for sure, says royal editor Rebecca English, the whole episode has been a 'game changer' for William and his plans for the whole future of the royal family.

@@hart3254 I think it depends on where the recordings took place, right? For example, in certain US states it is legal to secretly tape so long as one of the parties is ok with it. One of the parties includes the person doing the taping. I don't know how that works in the UK though.

I'm American as well and this is why I'm coming for you my fellow American. If you are a student of British history as you stated, you must not be a very good one. The RF and the British tabloids like the one that produces this show and just lost a privacy case to Meghan has had a scurrilous history of treating anyone that marry into the RF like garbage. In your studies did you happen to come across Diana's Panorama interview, where she is basically saying the same things Harry and Meghan are saying today, but she was saying them twenty years earlier. If Meghan and Harry is being truthful in their interview (they have receipts), why do you see them as the bad guys in this scenario, I would think it would be the family members and tabloids that would be the ones to be labeled trash. The royal family and the british tabloids are just mad because Harry and Meghan called them out on it and refuse to suffer in silent. I do think so. It’s not easy growing up with a narcissist in the home. They have to be the centre of attention, even try to split relationships between siblings and can be very destructive regarding family members confidence. I know because my mother was like that. She’s been dead for twenty years but the effect she had lives on to this day. All of MM’s issues are on very sensitive subjects that can’t be argued with - miscarriage, depression / suicidal thoughts, racism etc. She likes to have everybody walking on eggshells.

This is a perfect example of the difference between the British culture and the American celebrity way of life that Meghan has taken Harry into. Remember, Americans know nothing about a Royal Family so they would not have the respect that you British would have for them. People like Gayle King and Oprah only know about making millions at other people’s expense and that speaks for Meghan as well. The sad part of all of this is that if we are honest with our reflections on the subject, we can be honest and say that had Meghan not come into Harry’s life that Harry would still be at the side of his brother as he was and still be happy with his Royal life of duty. Harry is living his life now going in the same direction his great great uncle was driven by his American wife by being a besotted man in love. He should have taken the time to reflect on the miserable unhappy life his uncle had with that American women, once she got him away from his family.
