Many years ago back packing in France, on one campsite we ran into some Germans, both lads and lass's, one night in the campsite bar we were play pool and chatting with them, and having a great time, when from nowhere one of the German lads cleared his throat and said " I like the English, you are very funny, and I would like to say sorry for Germany's actions in the War", we all burst out laughing. Great times, loved them Germans, very funny people without knowing it......
@markfox15454 жыл бұрын
catpainblackudder01 - why do you think lads has no apostrophe but you've chosen to spell lasses as lass's? I'd understand you were just stupid if you used apostrophes in simple plurals every time but your inconsistency puzzles me.

Monty Mole hmmmmm the last time I was in London his statement is fairly true, at least for certain areas
@Isleofskye4 жыл бұрын
Disingenuous Mr. Mole..No-one is saying there are ZERO White people in any area but I can assure that "if" we ever return to Pre-Covid days and you get on ANY Inner London bus , North,East,West or South, and travel between 10am-4pm and you are White you will be one of 10%, if not less. Only 1 child in 10 in 2016 was born to White/British. however when I was born and raised 3 miles from Brixton it was 98% White/British outside the excellent 200,000+ Jewish East London populace.....only Gentrification will bring the Whites back...
@Isleofskye4 жыл бұрын
.I have just told Mr. Mole what I think of his nonsense, HOWEVER....I have lived worked and socialized, nearly 7,500 times, in Inner and Outer London in my 66 years without any altercations but I have seen a great deal and it nearly always involves the same Racial Group. I moved from near Brixton after the riots there and since 1983 I have had 37 fantastic years in THe London Suburbs after 29 exhilarating years living there but my home is on the edge..
@Isleofskye4 жыл бұрын
Actually Monty I DO know the feeling FIVE times, mon ami.FIVE times more than I suspect you do. THe worst was losing £1,500 and over £1,000 on another occasion.Once at home and 4 times on the road. My Aunt got done 3 times. Needless to say it was members of the same community responsible each time who are 10% of Londoners so the odds at Random of that happening? 10x10x10x10x10x10x10x10=100 MILLION TO ONE....Co-incidence,I reckon..

I dare to disagree. This would especially happen under the Nazis. Regardless they are known for their efficiency. If you need to be somewhere and you are a good Christian man or woman they will make sure to be late to cause trouble for you. As I presently live in a state of fascist tyranny I can confirm this to be the true reality…so don’t drink the kool aid. The Nazis want to inflict pain upon you hence a late bus is exactly the kind of thing that delights them because it will frustrate hurt and annoy you all at once. They’re not here because they care about you. Christianity is pro-streamlined services. Vote Christianity. Nazism is pro bureaucracy and red tape and planning permission loaded with excuses as to why things are not working properly…

James Almond this country is a joke these days. Everyone gets offended by everything. History is being re written, everyone joins some movement or another to boost their own status and to be part of the "in thing of the moment", until the next "must have" campaign organised through twitter is jumped upon by activists and those seeking to change our society with hidden agendas, funded by the elite to stir up trouble and discontent. The internet has been the worst thing ever invented, and I would gladly not be able to write this and go back in time if we could at least have a normal world back.

Just don't be disappointed that the trains these days make those in Britain seem punctual. Did 4 Intercity services in the summer. 3 were late, and I'm talking significant delays. Then there were various other trains that were delayed for 5, 10, 15mins. That said, we in the UK moan about foreign companies running our trains. Quite a few of the trains around Stuttgart where I spent a few nights are now run by Go-Ahead who are based in Newcastle.
@TheRailroad995 жыл бұрын
well, the German railway (DB) is a meme here for being not punctual at all. Especially Intercity and Intercity express are often late. However their service is usually rather good (you can get later trains for free if yours is delayed and sometimes you even get the money back)
