I don't know why people hates this ship so much and calls Ginny mean things. Maybe their relationship is "undeveloped" in the movies and books to others, maybe it's the writer's lack of depth in writing their dynamic together (or maybe it's just that people are used to romance nowadays and HP series does not revolve around their relationship). Either way, I still stand by my choice: the movies did them no justice and they're a perfect couple together. Their love was not forced, it's genuine. Unlike Cho's and Harry, it was a temporary bliss, but Ginny and Harry's were a lifetime, a treasure worth keeping. Don't @ me with your fav ships idc, I said what I said.

@@maelguiraud3568 It's David Yates fault 'cause he was a Harry/Hermione shipper from the start. He didn't care about Ginny's character at all. Don't get me wrong I don't have anything against the actress , Bonnie Wright and I'm 100% sure she'd have portrayed book Ginny way more accurately to canon, if she had she been given the chance. Especially the scene with the shoelaces was terrible beyond belief imo. It really makes me wonder if the movie makers even bothered reading the books.....

I actually like Ginny just fine in the movies, especially HBP. They have quite a lot of sweet moments and I like how dominant she is, she's often the one who takes the initiative like in the kiss scene, she knows Harry's inexperienced and awkward with girls and needs her to make the first move. It's also really sweet how she keeps telling Harry what to do ("Take my hand," "Close your eyes," etc.) and he just dutifully obeys her.

I love this! The song fits so perfectly and adds so much emotion, especially from the clips you used, you placed them perfectly. I felt such emotion watching this and my feelings intensified as it went along, it just kept getting better. I felt very moved. They always felt sooo much like lovers, its not about every Ron needs a Hermione but every Hermione needs someone cute, caring and attentive ron. Ron seemed to always be in love with her and same goes for her, they faught and grew up together, Ron paid attention to every thing hermione said, remembering her charms result even after four years, and kissing her just before the battle because it was then or never.....and harry saying that hermione looked at ron the same way Mrs. Weasley looked at her husband when she needed to win an argument.....they were meant to be ....also if you can get jealous to the extent of calling your fav quidditch player a big ruddy pumpkin head, breaking its figure's arm ....u definitely are in love (they made up at the end tho with krum)...they loved each other all along, their love wasn't typical story romance much more authentic and based upon true affections and attachments.....Hermione being in love with Harry never seems to be an idea if you read the books very carefully....i love this series ...the romances are well developed and realistic to some points ...also ron being ready to put himself before her weather it be torture or death....he was awesome...i hate it when people say he was just a sidekick....bro sacrificed himself to a chessboard at the age of eleven for someone he met just 9 months ago ....they have their own moments and i love it 💖

I agree they are great together and I think we’re always endgame. Yes, there romance was never what it was like in the books in the films, but, having said that I do think that in the last movie their story was good. And it was always based off of glances and touches, rather than conversation. They both are characters who didn’t need to have difficult conversations, they understood each other perfectly. And the movies did highlight that. And the books were not a romance novel anyway, Harry had to much on his mind to worry about romance and love at the time the series finished. It might be unpopular but that’s my opinion on Harry and Ginny in the films.

I loved them in the movies yeah it wasn't filmed great but bonnie and Daniel just looked amazing together and harry potter wasn't about sexualised relationships which I liked it's about chemistry and love and care for a person soulmates and they had a beautiful family together so I liked their story very much I prefer the book moments but they still had some cute scenes in the half blood Prince and deathly hallows and even the chamber of secrets when he saves her life

So the movie didn't do a great job at this pairing, they kind of threw it together, but fans are so quick to dismiss Ginny without really looking, because most love Hermione and Harry. Ginny loved Harry, flat out she did. Whether you liked the pairing or not, she did. The only person who threw themselves in front of Harry as often as Ginny, was Hermione. So on that they are even. More to the point, Ginny literally ran through fire to catch up to Harry to fight off death esters with him. I've seen a ton of fan fic about how bad things would have gotten if Hermione abandoned Harry, but i need to be honest. If Hermione abandoned Harry like she almost did in season 6, Ginny would have stepped up. Ginny wasn't quite as smart as Hermione, but she was a better fighter and just as prepared. A group consisting of her, Ron, and Harry, may have struggled in some areas, but would have thrived in others. I don't think they would have lost, i think Ginny could have insured they still won.

I actually really love Harry and Ginny’s relationship and though I agree it’s relatively underdeveloped, it’s nowhere near as bad as ppl make it out to be. If you’ve read the books, you know how amazing they really are but what I’ve realised is if you think of all their great scenes as stuff that happened off screen it really increases the experience of watching the movie regardless of it being heavily underdeveloped
