I went to the Portland show, but spent some time exploring the town before and after. I wish he'd put this out then, because I saw some of these places and the extra context would have been awesome. I spent some quality time at Music Millenium, 12th Avenue Records, and some other great record stores, too. When I met Harry after the show, he was shocked when I showed him a CD he'd made with State of Mind in 2006. It had the sharpie-drawn cover art and was burned onto a CDr. It was great to see him so happy, because he said he hadn't seen a copy of it in 10 years. Now he has a copy to enjoy and share. I might post some reactions to songs on that album and some other old Harry Mack stuff I've come across. Some of it will help connect the dots on why/how he's so knowledgeable and skilled with rap and hiphop culture in general. He's been a beast since before he had any clue how much potential he's got. His best work is still ahead of us.
