As a portuguese i can tell you that the right amount of money in the right pockets will get you that golden visa faster than you can blink. It suffered changes last year because of the Golden visa scandal. They were running like water... I can asure she doesn't have a drop of portuguese dna. As a Portuguese... If, they bought a house in Portugal and are expecting some kind of special treatment, they will be sorely disappointed. Look up what happened with Madonna, who threw a temper tantrum and left because we didn't give in to her every whim. The last straw was us not allowing her to ride a horse inside one of our national palaces; she wanted to actually walk with a horse on historic floors. Portugal will not provide them with security, either. We have plenty of celebrities and royals living here and they all pay their own way. We don't even pay for our own Royal Family - which, yes, still exists and is recognized despite us being a Republic, go figure. Police can be hired for events and such, but one has to pay for them. And I've never heard of them being hired just to protect individuals. For the golden visa thing - which we f***ing hate, btw, and want it abolished - they have to not only create jobs, but also a business/foundation/charity, so unless they are planning to open an office for Archwell or American Riviera Orchard, I don't see how domestic workers could qualify. Plus, and this one would probably hurt a certain someone the most, celebrities choose to live here because we simply don't care about them. We leave them alone, we don't approach them on the street, and we most definetly DO NOT hug them - in fact, we are not huggers as a people (besides our loved ones), I am afraid a certain someone would find us cold, uptight and unfeeling.

Spaniard here, tourism is essential to our country but the last few years it has become nonsense in the cities. Im from Madrid and the prices just skyrocketed and part of the center of rhe city is a phantom city, almost nobody lives there just tourists that come and go or foreigners who buy to invest/ do some money laundry and they never live there so the few people who still live there are old people that cannot even do their groceries because all the markets, shops disappeared, there is just bad restaurants for fast tourism, the same fast food and same fast retail you can find everywhere and a city with no soul.

In order for Harry to remain in the US on a visa he's required to pay taxes on any foreign income or property & spend 14 in days yearly in that country. Considering the issues they've had with his visa & the IRS I seriously doubt the property transfer would go through in the US. If they bought it as a tax shelter Harry must become a US citizen. In order to do that he must disavow any connections/relationship to a foreign government. Which means he'd have to denounce his entire family & lose their titles. We all know that's not gonna happen.

There have always been random stories over the years about the Harkles buying property and it always turns out to be false. First, it was a new home in a community about 45 minutes north of Montecito a few years back, then a year or so ago there were articles put out about how they bought a piece of land in Malibu and there was another rumor about how they bought an apartment in LA. Personally, I don't think they bought anything but the fact that they said they bought a place where Jack and Eugenie are known to have property is kind of suspect. Are they trying to drag Jack and Eugenie into more drama while distracting from William's events? They are evil like that so I wouldn't put anything past them.
