Having lost my husband to that awful cancer, I am fully aware. He had a particularly virulent form of cancer and at no point could have survived longer than 5 years, he made 2. Therefore I understand that Catherine is in a far better place than he ever was and I hope and pray for her continued recovery. It will take time. With Charles, because of his age, he could live with cancer for a number of years without it progressing further. With Catherine because of her youth, where cancer is much more virulent, she has to have aggressive treatment for it to work and it will, I have immense faith in her and her family. She has fought it with fortitude and courage and I think she will make it, but she needs to take time and give her body time to heal. As to that grotty little madam, all these puff pieces do nothing but amplify what a horrid, shallow woman she is. I am so fed up with that pair and their aggression for what? For not getting what they wanted? Give me a break, most of us don't get all what we want in life. I didn't want to be a widow in my 50's, but you accept adversity, you grow from it and you make sure you do not become bitter and twisted like those two.

My husband too had a very aggressive form of cancer, cholongiocarcinoma . He only survived 8 weeks after diagnosis and we were told it was terminal when he got diagnosed. Chemo would’ve only have been palliative but he got pneumonia & sepsis before he even started it. Not all cancers are equal so you’re right. Those men with prostrate cancer for instance can live with it for years and years. Often dying from something else. Many have very good treatments these days. Sadly we were told that wasn’t the case for my husband. He was 59 when he died. I was 57.

My nephew was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer that metastisized to his liver. He went to Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute in New York. They did a biopsy and it turned out he has the rarest type that can be treated even tho it has spread. We are so grateful that there is hope and he is doing well with hormonal treatments.

I recently received an end date that came from an error in diagnostics. First week, I was in denial. I didn't feel sick. Second week I was freaking out. I'm retired, had a great life and got to meet my great granddaughter. So ok. My mental and physical being is still in shock, even with a good report, two months later. I had a 18 month old with stage 2 Whilm's tumor (kidney cancer) He had that kidney removed (nephrectomy) followed by 25 rads of radiation and chemotherapy for 18 months. He is now 49 years old and hasn't had a recurrence or any other type of cancer. I always look forwards and enjoy your programme Lady C. I have no doubt that Catherine is receiving the best of treatment.

Personal experience with regards Catherine's illness. In the early 70's my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. He went through a series of radiation therapy treatments and then took a break to recover. Then he went in for surgery and the cancerous segment of his lung was removed. While he was recovering from the surgery he had a seizure. The tumor had metastasized to his brain. Eight more radiation treatments, he lost the remaining hair he had....and he recovered. A coworker in the hospital for the same thing, treated the same way, at the same time died from his illness. My father didn't have time to die. He had me to get through college and he had to meet his first grandchild. We got twenty more years out of those treatments.... and they were 'grosser' than the treatments given these days. Catherine has things to do.... she's not going anywhere without a fight.

Lady C spends quality time with her children at the Ballet. Willaim and Catherine spend quality time with their children at Tennis and football, and other members of the RF spend Quality time at events with Their Children. What Quality time have we seen harry and his wife spend with Their Children ??? Let me know 😊

I am convinced that the Royal Family and their courtiers know far more about Harry and Meghan's conduct and personality traits than we will ever know. Just imagine, we are horrified with the details that are already public, but just imagine how the Palace feels knowing the full picture. Just imagine what went on behind those closed doors. No wonder the Royal family are setting themselves apart from Harry and Meghan so they themselves and their conduct, will, over time, demonstrate the real Harry and Meghan, and since Mexit, we've already seen quite enough thank you.

Lady C, thank you, enjoy the ballet. Prayers that Catherine continues to improve. However, I fail to understand how Catherine's demise (it hurts to even write that) would benefit h&m. I firmly believe that William would focus on the children and duty, and if needed once king, call upon his cousins for state occasions, etc. He would have no need of the treasonous duo.

Also, anyone can lose their much-loved spouse and still go on to live a good life. Sadly, bad things happen to all. The idea that William would pine away and not ever find another suitable companion is ridiculous. Many people have survived such loss, and so would William. However, I know as an Oncology Data Specialist, (second career) that many people survive cancer and live normal lives. What Lady C said is correct. Doctors will not say you are cancer free (NED--no evidence of disease) for at least five years. They will continue to do scans and tests to make sure cancer has not returned. That being said, I think Catherine is looking well. She may have more treatments to undergo, (although I suspect she has finished her chemo), but she looks great to me. This is ridiculous talk about her lifespan. Very bad form, and something her children hopefully don't hear.

@@cherfromtn8225 Agreed. My husband was diagnosed in 2010, given 5 yrs (prostate cancer), and he is only now under the care of our fantastic local St Barnabas Hospice, yes he is end of life care, but until a few weeks ago, lived a full and healthy life despite radiotherapy and chemo.
