Thank you so much for your videos. My daughter in law gave me the Harry potter kit which my granddaughter received last year for her birthday. Without your help this project would never have been completed. I'm certainly not an advanced crocheted and really struggled before finding you on KZbin. My granddaughter has had to wait for 10 months. I only hope she's happy with the finished article x

They have changed the pattern slightly now, still a struggle but I have never crocheted before and didnt know where to start. Without your help with harry and dobby I would have just given these away to charity. Once I got going though I found crocheting quite therapeutic so will definitely try some other patterns (with better wool). Thanks for your help and getting me 'hooked' on crocheting!

You have done such a good job! I made Ron Weasley for my daughter using one of these kits and I can honestly say it was the worst thing I have ever made! The yarn wasn’t good quality and the instructions for the hair were a nightmare…..I made it up in the end 😂 x

It really surprised me how poorly written it was. I would much rather them be slightly more expensive but have it produce a good product :)

I just couldn't make it small enough no matter how tigt i crocheted I couldnt make him as small as the picture on the box in the womans hands. Very frustrating. Thanks for your video. X

In my kit given to me for Christmas I have made the body with grey yarn on the top of the body which continues with black to complete the body. Then it says make lapels. 50 ch. Then do for the completing row. Fasten off and sew onto the tunic. What tunic. No mention of a tunic anywhere. Do I just stitch it around the neck and down the front of the body to the base of body? There is no red on my version of the body. Arghhhh.

I know what you mean!!! I have the Harry Potter one too and the body is grey and black and says lapels onto a tunic. Again WHAT friggin tunic 🤣. This is just about to go in a bin as I’m totally frustrated.

I have the same version as you and have just done the “lapel” i dont know if they mean collar because its way too long, its too long to be a collar to be fair, but im going to crochet everything first and then sew it!

This is the version I have, I have no clue what it means by the lapels either!

@@helenabrams3280 What i did was wrapped it around the back of his 'Neck' and down the front of his torso so it looks like a collar and then lapels on either side of his chest area, it was long enough but have no idea if this was actually correct
