@@shanustheanus regarding your first point i agree that it’s annoying to have people misinterpret male and female friendships as romantic, that’s why i’m such a believer of harry and hermoine being siblings to one another, and the characters themselves affirm that their relationship is purely platonic. however i see that since the beginning hermione had a different relationship with ron, they were friends of course but you could see tension between them that grew more and more romantic as time went on. and with every book it became more impossible to deny that hermione had a connection to ron that she doesn’t have with harry and didn’t want to have with harry, and same goes for ron. his friendship with hermione was drastically different to his with harry and it’s not just because of gender it’s because the writing was clear; hermione and harry represent a platonic friendship between a guy and a girl similar to a sibling bond; harry and ron represent true friendship between mates that nearly borders a brotherhood between them, and hermione and ron represent a friendship between a guy and a girl that was never purely platonic, because you saw them harbor a romantic tension no other combination in the trio did.

That was done beautifully and started off with such a brilliant subtlety that the intent only becomes fully clear in repeat reading. It was done extraordinarily well. The idea of the three doing everything and anything for each other born out of a totally selfless and mutual platonic love is an infinitely more powerful and interesting story to me than who gets shipped with who.

I read the whole 7 books multiple times and yes of course the books showed the chemistry between ron and hermione so much better, but from trying to look from the perspective of those who dont read the book, i really think you have to read the books to see that there were in fact romantic chemistry between ron and hermione. There have been hints since chamber of secrets that they kinda fancy each other. Ron defended hermione multiple times when draco threw slurs at her and many other times like when kreacher called her a mudblood. I dont understand how anyone could say there isnt any chemistry. In the prisoner of azkaban, they argue a lot about their pets, it’s obvious that they seemed like a couple of teenagers who actually fancy each other but express it in an immature way which is totally fine since they’re 15 in that movie. The part where hermione accidentally held hand ron’s hand during the buckbeak scene and the was one of the early hints too. As for harry and hermione, omg how can anyone see them as anything else but siblings? Their chemistry reeks with siblings love. The way hermione took care of harry is so motherly. Trimming his hair, for example. I dont see romance at all, but brother-sister love. It’s ok, fine still make sense more than the dramione ship. How could you hate on ron and said he’s an awful person and then ship hermione and draco? The person who not only was a coward and a bully throughout the whole series, but also threw slurs at hermione and wished death on her? Make it make sense please.

Nah, I’ve had the vomit flavoured one - it doesn’t taste good at all. It was so specifically the flavour of bile that I was shocked by the jelly bean scientists’ (lol) ability to recreate flavours. It lingered with me all day, even after brushing my teeth and trying so many things to get rid of it. I think the staff made the classic mistake of not cutting off a bit to check, so you got the nice version of the same colour bean. The only worse bean flavour was dog food 🤢

i think harry and hermione shippers have only seen the movies which is totally fine!! but its not a very accurate picture imo. in the books, harry of course has affection for hermione because she's his friend, but he doesn't really enjoy spending time with her one on one and always misses ron when he has to and hes constantly describing her as a goose or a bird or something lmao. them butchering rons character and making him stupid and moody, when he is witty, a quick thinker and calm in stressful situations and always looking out for hermione; and making hermione perfect and not showing her flaws; really skews this for movie watchers too. i get why people dont like ron and hermione but i think they balance each other out really well and i love their scenes together.

The moment I read the first moment of theirs and watched the first moment they talked in the movie, I knew they would end up as a couple. So, I still can't understand until now as to why people don't get it. Especially, if they prefer dramione more than romione. Like how the fuck you want to pair a good girl with a bully and prat like malfoy 😭 he even wished her dead. I just can't understand

@@cloudycloudyme9685 tbf Ron made Hermione cry many, many more times than Malfoy did. I'm not a Dramione shipper and honestly she deserved much better than any of the boys in the books could bring to the table, but it's a lot easier to see Malfoy eventually growing past the misconceptions he grew up with and redeeming himself than it is to see Ron ever maturing enough for her when even in the epilogue he's still blithe and lazy.

Ive read and watched both books and movies but I think its just how people have their opinions on them and Ill always be a harmione shipper.

@homris Ron made Hermione cry because she was in love with him otherwise none can make Hermione cry. Hermione is fierce. And by doubting Ron you are actually doubting Hermione's intelligence cuz Hermione choose Ron and she must have thought something that you miss.

Ron and Hermione is acceptable at best but Ginny and Harry is the worst ship in the entire series. They don't make any sense. Have JK paired Harry and Hermione as he wanted to, we would have gotten way better dynamics compared to Ron and Hermione

1:50 Hermione and harry makes so much sense tho becuz they were both muggle raised. I know the magic world is exciting and exotic but they would connect with their upringing in some ways that very few of their peers would understand. Plus they're both very gifted in a world that doesnt completely accept them. I always thought they should have got together when i was reading them growing up and waiting for the next books to come out. Also i agree there is no chemistry between harry and cho. Its just a young boys crush and another young person who is maybe mildly interested becuz hes easy.

my debate is: 1. which twin dies? - I don't think either would matter. because for one, I barely could tell the twin. i only knew who died when they said George died. i would cry equally whoever twin that died on that movie. 2. hermoine or cho? - not cho. cho constantly mentioned cedric. like trauma bonding is not a good way to bond. that's baggage but the thing is hermoine had chemistry with both ron and harry. it wouldn't be that odd for her to end up with harry 3. time turner thing - I am so sorry but I hated dobby. i think im just judging by the book cover tbh but I do love him but he gave me a weird ick. so I don't have much I wanna change but id rather attempt one over saving dobby. ALSO, I didn't kill off dobby. bella did. i just didn't save him. 4. tim or flo? - no one else can be harry but daniel. and I agree flo could be luna than hermoine 5. cloak or nimbus? - nimbus. parking sucks. i hate looking for parking. i don't care how uncomfortable it is 6. dan as sirius or tom as lucious? - it wouldn't make sense for daniel as sirius. daniel as james maybe but sirius? that's weird. it wouldn't be odd to see tom, draco malfoy as his father. it makes much more sense 7. vomit or ear wax? - yuck. neither. but the vomit one kinda sold me. they really seemed like it didn't tasted that bad.
