Am I a bad person for this? I'm very very tempted to tell a high-ranking chef at my job that I almost got hit by a car. She'd given me what I felt was an unfair lecture. She corrected me on my mistakes in the office but _not_ in a sensitive, respectful way. Heck, she even said to my boss "Is there anything you want to add?" as if I didn't feel bad enough. And then the next day, she asks "How are you?" Like, WTF? If she actually thought I would say good after the day before, she's not sane. Now, still feeling hurt and disrespected, I think the reason I want her to hear how I almost got fataIIy injured is because....I'm gonna say it...I think she kind of deserves it. I wouldn't fault someone for insulting and hurting me if I did it to them first. Heck, if someone I disliked almost DlED, I would stop thinking badly of them and appreciate them a lot. That's another reason to tell the chef I could've been kiIIed. Does my spite make me a bad person? I'm not even writing the context to the whole story, for the sake of avoiding length and repelling readers.
