Then they could have easily put quidditch in hogwarts legacy as a mini game if that is the mechanics for seeker, not to mention the chaser gameplay could have also been put in hogwarts legacy, each position a single player mini game that gets more difficult instead broom racing. This game is being developed by a developer studio named "Unbroken Studios", they only have one other game under their belt called "Fractured Lands" in 2018. Fractured Lands was abandoned in Early Access, never reaching 1.0. It was pulled from the steam store after people had already paid for it. Not a great track record.

With the recent closure of Harry Potter Magic Awakened, any multiplayer game from WB will be an instant pass for me, I recommend all players pass on this game. If they can close servers down with a snap of their fingers without even giving players the option to transfer our data to the remaining open servers in Asia, what’s stopping them from doing the same thing with this game. WB does not care about their customers. They have 2 months to change our minds but the bar is low

Horrible promotion tactics honestly. WB canceled Harry Potter Magic Awakened without noticed. People put time and energy into the game for the grind and also spent money. It was the best thing going for them on mobile. Will never understand why get rid of HPMA and leave that worthless Hogwarts Mystery. Of course the WB devs are greedy, we can’t transfer our profiles to servers that’s still active and then comes this horrible promotion for Quidditch with barely real gameplay. WB needs to do better honestly no wonder why they currently losing.

@@badsnacks1703 Unfortunately, most likely. Well, even if this was an alternate timeline where the Triwizard’s Tournament didn’t take place, Cedric would have graduated. Which is kind of sad as a Hufflepuff to see our star Seeker graduate and move on with his life, but it would have been a better fate than either A) death by Wormtail and Voldemort’s hands, or B) apparently becoming so jealous/jaded by his defeat in the Triwizard Tournament via time travel sabotage he becomes a Death Eater (I know as a fandom we’re not supposed to talk about the Cursed Child, but I figured address the elephant in the room by admitting that timeline exists).

Seems ok, having custom caracter is ok too. It looks like It has less maps tho, Old Quidditch World Cup had like 12, the old one with more teams and maps would be perfect. Also the gameplays seems more stiff, the old passing stylish combo plays, team moves (scoring), was so good, I hope they bring some of that.

I commented the other day say how great the playtest was but now due to the changes they made to the game, I can’t say I would recommend considering we can’t play with all our friends and have to resort to 3v3 with bots to fill the other 3 roles. @@iimax_9135because that realistic art style would have shredded even powerful PCs let alone consoles at the speeds this game plays. The frame drops would have made it unplayable. This allows previous gen console users to enjoy the SAME experience as everyone else. Also, this art style is battle tested in other genres to have longer enjoyment. I’d say if you have a PS, with PS+ get it that way, you’ll see when you play that the artstyle is fun, and you don’t even notice it when actually in games

The developers did a great job. Gameplay looks fun. I hope career play will be more than just repeating matches with little to no story. The €30,- price tag is incredibly steep and the pack with skins and coins quite saddening. The amount of different packs and exclusive skins worries me about use of other dark patterns. They said there are no microtransactions planned, so I guess we'll see.

@@ElASoci It was stated in one of the official posts from last week that the 3v3 PvP mode will consist of teams of 6 out of which at least 3 "players" will be AI bots because you play as Chaser - Beater, Chaser - Seeker, and Chaser - Keeper. Idea being you swap to one AI bot team mate, which personally at least, I find extremely confusing, when I prefer sticking to a singular role in other team based games I've played in the past and/or still play today.

Yes, you would indeed be correct (according to the posts made last week) - except of course, in said 3v3 mode you will also have at least 3 AI bot team mates on both sides, and the idea is that you swap between being a Chaser to either Keeper, Seeker, or Beater.
