Nitpicking ahead: Many of the things you bring up are in the books. Like, they tell us in the books that Dudley had the tail surgically removed. I think Vernon shouts about it at some point. Snape knew Lily very well, they were childhood best friends and still hung out in school and during sommer breaks. It wasn't until he insulted her during year 5 (?) that their friendship ended. The cloak of invisibility isn't really an invention, it's litterally one of the deathly hollows, given as a gift from Death himself. There are some in the wizarding world, but none that work as well as Harrys.

Actually the invisibility cloak was a wish not a wizard invention. It was an equipment that was wished to hide you from death and not to sneak up on other people but they could use it for recreational activities though but it was a desperate choice to wish something that would hide you from death.
