But then you grow up, and learn that there is much more, a whole castle which you can refer to as "home". And the older you grow, the more you discover of it, learn the joys you can have there, but also get to know it's dark sides. Chrispee Bacon Ummm no it isn't. The entire series is about how love is the most powerful magic, that it can even conquer death. Rowling has even said this herself. Lilys love for him protected him from Voldermort time and time again. Harry's love for his friends protected his friends from Voldemort, and it was Snape's love for Lily that protected Harry from beginning to end. No matter how powerful Voldemort became, as the master of death, the ultimate duelist, with the ability to come back from the dead by splitting his soul - his power would never match Harry's, because Harry had love. That was the whole damn point of the series. Voldemort could not see Snape's true loyalties because he did not understand love, he dismissed it time and time again and was defeated by love. BAM.

@@arimmon7702 The book wasn't that good. The characters are too bland and many things were impossible. Like, how was Bellatrix able to keep Delphi in her belly? You should see a bulge in her stomach when you're pregnant. And Harry doesn't act like who he was in the movies. And another thing... The ending to Deathly Hallows was good enough. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were just standing there, reminicent of their famous trio. And their kids going to Hogwarts like they did in their first year. So, I don't see Cursed Child as a good book or even canon to the HP Universe. One more thing, the script book didn't do so well, so there wouldn't be another movie of it.

Everyone, admit it. We didn't know how bad everything was going to become after the Goblet of Fire when Voldemort came back. It wasn't even when the Ministry of Magic tried to hush everything up. It was the moment in the Half-Blood Prince you found out about the Horcruxes and Dumbledore died. The whole movie and book had a feeling of doom that lead perfectly into the Deathly Hallows and during the final battle.

it doesn't matter how long it's been since I've seen the film, the minute Courtyard Apocalypse kicks in, I'm a crying young adult in that cinema watching Hogwarts fall to ruins. Seeing the school like that broke me. I always wish they'd done an epilogue as a roundabout clip with an owl flying towards a rebuilt Hogwarts, we see the staff getting ready for the new year, then we go to Platform 9 3/4. OH well.
