I hate that nearl all ravenclaw merch has a raven on it... I want the REAL house crest with the eagle in it. I also prefer the book version of the house colors (blue and bronze) but I'm not to picky with that. But most items having a raven on it has kept me from getting any ravenclaw merch... i really hate it.

Sophies Welt yes I’m not a fan either being a Ravenclaw myself, by jo Rowling approved it herself so I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ if I was the writer I wouldn’t be happy about it personally but maybe they weren’t allowed to use an eagle for some reason

Sophies Welt yeah she confirmed it on Twitter a while ago when someone tweeted her asking during a Q&A session. Never gave a proper reason though so I’m only speculation on the legal stuff

Oh man :( But well, as long as we can't tell the reasons. Maybe there's some crest with blue and a raven and the legal owner thought the ravenclaw crest is too similar? Could be. We'll probably not know if that's the reason, because I'm guessing that kind of legal stuff is secret.

Daria Turbatu yes they still sell the hoodies, they were out of stock the day we were filming. They're priced at £39.99 as for slytherin and gryffindor merchandise you're going to have to wait for their respective videos 😊

Original Renegade Don't they use a Griffin instead of a lion for griffindor too? Its a shame they didnt stick with the originals. Thanks for these videos! I'm finally going to the studio tours in August and these have been helpful to know how much money to put aside! I'm a hufflepuff 😄

Alexandria no they definitely use a lion for the gryffindor crest. It's just up on its hind legs like the ones on England football shirts 😊 so glad these videos helped you out. Have a fabulous time when you go. My sisters a Hufflepuff too
